Just had delivery from here and ended up chucking most of it away. All 3 curry dishes had the same odd tangy off taste, the onions bhajees were dry and hard and broke into dust when cutting them. The roti and naan bread were dry and unpleasant. The sag aloo was quite nice.so for that reason I’m giving it one star

River Spice - spice by name, spice by nature! Great heat for those that enjoy spicy curries. River must come from the amount of liquid over protein. The chicken could’ve been farmed in Chernobyl. The prawn puri had been scorched by a Samsung micro oven - Uri Gellar would of been jealous of the bend left in the knife. I’d say either upgrade your microwave or chef.

Everything was fresh and piping hot, so no oil everywhere, or needing to reheat the food in the microwave, and the complimentary sauces for the popoadums was nice and thick, glad to see that it hadn't been watered down and my order was delivered in record time on a Saturday evening by the really polite driver. Well done!

I work all over the country and eat a lot of takeaway food. River spice is by far the best Indian food I have had. In the last 7 months I've worked at Hemel hemsted on 4 different occasions. The last twice i have ordered food from here and have not been disappointed. The food is full of flavour, cooked to perfection and is always fresh. If you wand a real good Indian this is your place to order from . Cant praise this food enough. Well done guys keep up the good work ? ?

Ordered a meal for 4 people, food arrived on time and was tasty. They had forgotten the veg curry with the biryani. After giving them the option to redeliver or leave it they went out there way to make it right. I do appreciate good practise. Good job!
