The rose and crown is my absolute favourite family-run pub in Hemel. Cheap prices, friendly and caring staff, live music, and community spirit – it's got it all! A must-visit for all ages. 100% wouldn’t recommended a better pub to go to ?

Lovely pub right in the heart of it, Family run and every single one of the staff are friendly and make you feel right at home! Drink prices are reasonable and the entertainment is second to none! with karaoke on a thursday and live entertainment fridays and saturday nights!love love love

had dinner here recently with some friends. food was great, big shout out to Nici the waitress, she was exceptional. couldnt do enough for us. we will be back

Tried to more than double the number of clientele in there at 8pm on a Saturday night (from 4 people to 10 people). Told by a barman wearing tracksuit and football shirt that it didn't fit the dress code. Ridiculous. Good luck staying in business.

If in uniform then not permitted. Door policy is a little strange considering how quiet it is. AVOID is the best advice.The door staff were calm and professional. Very non aggressive. Respect! Following owners orders.The Manager's/Owner's policies need a review.

Used to go here all the time. Went here tonight on a chill evening, went to the bar and basically got threatened with a fight from the bar staff for no other reason than he was absolutely off his face. Avoid this if you want a fun night but go here if you want a spit and sawdust sort of night that might end up with a first with the bar staff, Bloody weird night that’s all I can say
