Lovely location on the canal for a sunny afternoon. food not bad for the price. nOt going to win any awards but decent enough pub grub. Lovely service, nice beers, old school welcoming homely vibe indoors.

What a treasure, hidden away down a small lane and over a canal bridge is a lovely country pub, serving great food, coupled with friendly service, the pub is full of quirky objects, and the catered for my ceoliac wife superbly, withe best cheesecake she,s ever eaten

Such a lovely location but the food we had was mediocre. Scampi and chips accompanied by a small portion of peas with a cheap tartar sauce. None of it was homemade and probably the cheapest frozen items they could find. Disappointing.

Fantastic location and great staff, very helpful when needed baby change. Just needs more vegan options for 5* food from us, but what we had was great.

I would give 10 stars if I could. The food was perfect, the service friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was absolutely brilliant sitting by the canal as the sun is glimmering behind the leafy trees. What a dreamy place.

Nice setting but food heavily over-priced. e.g. BLT with a sprinkling of salad - £9.50! Will not visit again.

What a fantastic place. It's a shame we never had tine to try the food. We shall be back to correct this. Venue spot on and lovely staff

This marvellous pub dating from 1600’s is bang slap right next to the Grand Union canal and with a generous outdoor seating area the 3 Horseshoes is very much a destination pub. Having said that despite its popularity meal service seems to be swift and good value for money. This pub is open from midday and is an ideal place for passing boaters to tie up for refreshments. Excellent staff always happy to help, serve and evidently enjoy working at this place. Parking is easy ( in my experience) in either of their own car parks that do get full over a weekend assuming the weather is fine ! They offer a selection of Charles Wells hand pulled ales so all good in my opinion!

What has happened to this place, the menu was extremely limited, beer was ok, but setting is lovely. Needs a menu review

The building and setting sells it for me. Just a stunning and quiet location. Ideal from the hustle and bustle of town life no matter what the weather.

Lovely location. Sadly not very well run. Bar person adamant “We don’t sell iced coffees” as the couple at the table behind us were served them. Is it so hard to put ice and milk in a glass and add a shot of coffee? Decaf coffee was instant. The toilets smell awful and are not well maintained.

Atmosphere is really good and the staff are amazing. Food is on the slightly more expensive side but for a nice day out I'd recommend.

A beautiful ancient pub with funny little sayings on the beams about women and wine. A tasty pint and full of atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Used to be a lovely place. Still great location and nuce beer.I would not eat there again. Big difference to last time, and not cheap (cost wouldn't be an issue if nice)

Very overpriced and undercooked food. Garlic prawns were served in a bowl of water. Burger very very rare. Chips and onion rings oily. Crusty bread is like supermarket baguette as is cheese and ham baguette. Not crusty at all.Forgot to take pics but won’t be back for more!
