What an absolute gem of a proper family run local cafe serving great food and service with a smile. We had a fantastic Full English which was generous and delicious, we “upgraded” to the “butcher’s sausage’s” which was well worth it as they tasted great. We will definitely be visiting again.

I have been coming to this cafe now for near 15 years, the staff are polite and friendly. At times the cafe can get very busy with locals and workers. The food is good and they use proper tea bag no cheap rubbish (no gray cups of tea here).

Never sat down to eat but all the take away I have had. Not 1 has been disappointing. Always busy.

I come to windmill over and over again because the food, prices and service are great. My personal favourite is the eggs Benedict with bacon instead of ham and their milkshakes are also amazing. If you don't want to make the trip out, they're also available on Deliveroo, ubereats etc.

Today I ventured back to the café, upon my arrival I remembered the homely feel to the place and smiled a little. I thought I would try something different and decided to order chili con carne with a baked potato. The baked potato came with a side salad so my doctor will be happy ?. I have to admit the potato was really well cooked, it was soft and creamy and went really well with the chilli. I would highly recommend giving it a try, the salad was also good (yes I ate the salad).Over all a much better experience the. My first. Hats of the the owners and staff.Vegetarian options: From reading the menu they did have a wide selection of vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: They have options for gluten free and dairy free if I remember correctly. I will make a note the next time I go and will update this accordingly

Took 30min for our food. Served one person 20 minutes before the rest. Food was cold, missed out one of our orders, and prioritised outbound orders rather than someone that comes to there business never coming back.
