We recently dined at this establishment based on glowing reviews and an intriguing interior. From the moment we entered the small parking area to the warm welcome by a helpful young man, our experience was delightful. The restaurant's decor was captivating, and we were promptly seated at a perfectly arranged table. Our waiter, a friendly and charming gentleman, efficiently took our drink orders, and the haddock fish cakes for starters were truly satisfying. The mains featured a flawlessly cooked 8oz Scottish steak, tailored to my medium preference. The intimate and well-thought-out atmosphere, coupled with the wonderfully friendly staff, made for a memorable evening. We look forward to returning soon and extend our compliments to the chefs for crafting truly spectacular food.Thank you for making our evening truly wonderful.

In my humble view it’s difficult to beat perfection. This is my experience with respect to this restaurant when visited on three occasion’s. The service was not rushed but attentive, informative and courteous. The food was excellent in preparation and taste in fact better than any restaurant my wife and I have attended in some time (not including oriental style cuisine). I cannot recommend the establishment more highly.

Had Sunday lunch here today, under 30 quid for 3 courses. Service was impeccable and the atmosphere was great. Can't fault my experience . Heard good things about here and its all true. Make this your next destination and you won't be disappointed. 10/10.

Fantastic food, great friendly atmosphere and lovely staff! Me my, partner and our friend came here for dinner. We started with homemade haddock fishcakes and mussels in white wine suace. The fishcakes were light, fluffy, and tasty (my friend Christine made me say tasty instead of sumptuous lol). The mussels were large and juicy, and the white wine sauce was beautiful. The mains were all amazing. Me and my partner shared beef Wellington and a rack of lamb. They were excellent, both dishes sauces the accompanying cognac and cream for BW and redwine sauce for lamb were brilliant ? Our friend had the Sea Bass which she said was lovely We were too full for desert, but we will return. The staff were all first class, friendly and only to happy to make your night a night to remember. THANKS TEAM Parking: Ask staff for details.

Lovely little find (as a visitor from London). Charming atmosphere for such a busy place. Staff were very attentive and the food was simply Devine! Generous portions I didn’t have room for dessert modestly price for the quality of the food. I shall be putting the bistro on my ‘Must visit Again’ list. I hear they do a Sunday lunch as wellVegetarian options: There was a selection of very nice sounding vegetarian mealsParking: There is an archway next to the restaurant, drive down there and they will beep you into a private car park !!!

Came here for a family birthday, after looking online for vegan options I came with low expectations but I was pleasantly surprised! I was presented with a full vegan menu and much care was taken to ensure my meal was vegan, the mushroom and walnut main was particularly delicious! As someone following a vegan lifestyle I really appreciate traditional eateries like this one accommodating me, so thank you!

In all the years of living in this area I am sad that this was my first visit as it was superb!The service was second to none with our waitress being attentive but not over bearing, chatty and an all round delight. The food was beautiful, perfectly seasoned, tasty, well presented and plenty of it. I recommend the prawns to start and if you like beef wellington you will love this one! I can't wait to go back.C'est magnifique
