As always wonderful breakfast, nice quality sausages and bacon and all very hot. The only letdown for me was the toast. If your making toast then do so, don't give warm bread with cheap margarine on it. Everything else about this place is amazing just let down by the toast and it is easily fixed.?

It sadly seems our experience is not an isolated case.When were were seated, the waitress brought us a water bowl for the dog, nice touch.Sadly, it went all downhill from there on. We were waiting ages to place our order and had to catch the waiter's eye to get his attention.He struggled to understand our basic order of a tuna and cheese jacket potato and a toastie. He kept repeating "with beans" for the potato.We were waiting 25 minutes for food, whilst others who arrived and ordered after us received their food first. They said was because our order was complicated! I don't think it could have been any easier.In the end, we had waited enough and left, so found somewhere nearby that was delightful.
Lovely local cafe, very reasonably priced. Good variety of options too including veggie.

I have eaten at Hatters on many occasions and this last weekend took some American friends there for breakfast. The service was, as always, friendly and efficient. We all enjoyed our breakfast and it was an added bonus that the the sun was shinning. My friends couldn't eat all the No 2 breakfast and that is amazing when you take into account the size of portions in the US! I think that previous reviewer must have an axe to grind because Sadat is the nicest, most friendly Guy you could meet and he is fastidious about cleanliness. Definitely a place not to miss.

Waited half an hour for our food order to be taken, and within that time, 4 other tables that were seated after us, were all served and got their food before our order was even taken. Waitress said it's because they were busy but doesn't mean you serve people that have arrived after you first. Food arrived, wasnt good. Partners was completely cold. Wouldn't return. Lots of people were complaining.
