It's being remodelled so a bit, so it was a bit messy, but it had some nice plants, so that's all I needed,and the cafe was nice.

A great garden centre. The plants and accessories are really lovely and we visit here a lot. So much variety and all seem in good health and well taken care off.The cafe has always been a hit as well however today whilst waiting to place an order I witnessed one of the staff accidentally knock the top section of a customers sandwich on to the floor. She picked it up and put it on the board on the side (a no no as already contaminated) then checked to see if the lady in front me who was standing directly opposite the door saw. She did not notice I was watching. She took 2 other plates out then on her return placed the tomatoes and piece of bread back into the sandwich, the bits that had been on the floor and took it out to the customer. I told the man at the till what had happened and he just kind of shrugged it off a bit embarrassed but didn’t know what to say and nothing was done to stop the sandwich being eaten. I didn’t see where she took the sandwich otherwise I would’ve told the customer myself. And I know a bit of dirt never hurt anyone but in a food serving establishment that is really bad practice, if they’re prepared to serve floor food it did make me wonder what else are they doing. Such a shame as the food is generally very good and the cakes are delicious but it has made me think twice about eating there again in case I get floor food.

Garden restaurant, 2nd week in a row, had to wait more than 45 minutes for a stated menu item to be prepared and cooked. Customers who ordered after me had got and eaten their food.

Lovely garden centre let down by the staff. Sat for ages in the restaurant and no one cleared a table despite walking past them. Suddenly all tables cleared ..the manager was around.No baskets, staff on till just standing round chatting. No bags, no boxes and not bothered. Then overcharged £10 on the bill. No apology at all until manager came to do the refund.What a shame. Staff only bothered to do their jobs if management there
