Having been a number of times, this Zizzi is the best for us. Staff are always diligent and go the extra mile to make us feel welcome, and ensure our children are safe to eat due to their food allergies. The manager there is particularly welcoming, and we always have a great experience there. We will be back again soon! Thank you.

We recently visited this restaurant as a family of two young ones and I was so impressed. On first arriving we mentioned my husband had a nut allergy and the manager immediately provided a seperate menu so it was completely clear what we could select from. The manager was incredibly helpful and lovely with our kids, putting them at ease and being more than happy to accommodate the requests we had on their food. We haven’t been to a Zizzi in a while and I was so impressed with the menu updates. The food was so fresh, tasty and lots more variety than previously. They even boxed up our leftovers for the kids and offered another meal when my daughter was a little funny about what she herself had picked. They made us feel so welcome and we didn’t have to wait for anything. My son said at end we wants to have dinner there everyday - if we lived more locally we would most certainly be making it a regular. They couldn’t have known but we visited on a difficult day for our family and it was so refreshing to experience such expceptional service, delicious food and above all friendliness.Dietary restrictions: Took my husbands peanut allergy very seriously offering a seperate menu of all the nut free options and having the manager come and adviseKid-friendliness: They made my children feel like royalty and were so accomodating, making my children an absolute delight to dine out with (which is rarely the case so thank you!)

We went for our staff Christmas meal. It was draughty, cramped and the fixed menu was curtailing. Zizzi have so much more to offer than this usually. A rubbish experience all round. Would have rather have gone to Pizza Express, which we did the year before and they were amazing. Parking is terrible too.

We had such a lovely dinner here, despite it being a very busy Saturday just before Christmas. This branch of Zizzis is in a great location, and the restaurant is lovely inside, plus the food was all cooked really well. But what stood out for us, and is the reason that I’m leaving this review, was the exceptional service. Every member of staff that we encountered was cheerful and engaging. They were fantastic with the kids, taking time to chat with our 6 year old even though it was busy. I think they also noticed that we were struggling a bit with keeping our 2 year old sat still, as one of the managers made a point of coming over and chatting with her at a particularly tricky point for us, which I really appreciated as it gave me a few minutes to eat some of my dinner (gluten free pizza, which had been made fresh and was delicious) The food arrived quickly, we had everything we needed plus a few thoughtful extras, and every member of staff we encountered was so attentive. I know this is just a chain restaurant, but the genuinely fantastic service that we received really made this feel like a special dinner

Visited with friends early weekday evening. A very large school part has just left and you could tell! However, the staff were quick to sit us down, apologise for the mess and get us settled. Had the three course Christmas menu which was definitely worth the money. Lots of choice and great portion size. Staff were chatty and attentive without being intrusive. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing food and especially fantastic service from our waitress Ella. She was so wonderful and attentive, even though it was busy she stayed calm and made our Zizzi experience even more pleasant. Excellent spot for a lovely meal out in Hitchin!

Went in for a late lunch around 13:30 with some family. It was quiet but had a nice relaxed and friendly atmosphere, nothing was too much trouble. George is a fantastic host, friendly, knowledgeable and had a great rapport with his customers. I had a NewRustica Fable Shiitake 'Shroom pizza and can honestly say it's the best pizza I've had for years. I would certainly recommend without hesitation and next time I'm in Hitchin I'll be going back. Thanks ?

Really wanted to like this place but the food was average and the service was dreadfully slow (think they were short staffed on the day..) although the cheesecake was superb but couldn't save it from being a disappointing experience...
