I have been eating Pie n Mash for over 30 years and have eaten in the most famous, and not so famous. I even worked as a cook in Ye Old Pie n Mash in Borehamwood many moons ago when i was a teenager.So, I thought that I'd pop over to this establishment ( I have a vague recollection of visiting their Walthamstow shop with my nan in my early years) I drove from Welwyn Garden City as didn't fancy a train trip to Deptfords wonderful pie n mash and it was well worth the 30-minute drive.The lady at the counter was very friendly and took my order within seconds of entering the shop.I went for the good old Double pie n mash and can happily say that the mash was fluffy, and the pies were filled to the brim and tasted lovely with a bit of pepper and some chilli vinegar.If you love pie n mash , get down to this amazing little gem as it does exactly what you're hoping to find.Overall, it was a very hearty and comfortably warming eating experience on a cold afternoon.Will i go back....yes!Also, they do not take cards, so ensure that you have cash. There is a santander a few yards down from the shop with an ATM.

Authentic Pie and Mash, absolutely delicious. Lady serving was friendly and helpful. Pies full of mince, mash and liquor perfect consistency. Well worth a visit.

Continued the Menzie brand as it should be.South East London pie mash in Herefordshire.Excellent friendly staff, perfect portions, highly recommend eat in or takeaway.Well worth a visit.Dietary restrictions: I eat pie mash and have no dietary requirements, but all food companies, takeaways, restaurants, etc shall have a dietary requirements available for all customers.Kid-friendliness: Lovely, helpful staff, made to feel welcome getting a takeaway. Felt comfortable.Wheelchair accessibility: Seemed to have adequate access for a wheelchair, didn't check toilets but will visit again with a disabled friend.

So happy to see a Manzes Pie and EEl shop locally . Rachael is fantastic she makes you feel so welcome her pies are to die for and her mash is epic as is the liquor ….. The place is immaculate and 100% clean would recommend 100% I’m so fussy with my pie and mash had it last week in bethnal Green Road so disappointed so coming here to Hoddesdon was so fantastic and an enjoyable experience.

Fantastic!!! Great smiley happy staff! Great food. Lovely space inside! Accommodated a table outside for me to eat as I had my German Shepherd puppy with me!Just need to invest in more steamed eels as sell out so quickly. Top place! ????✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️Wheelchair accessibility: Always make it easy for my mum to dine and stay in her wheelchair. Very helpful!!
