The beef burnt ends were incredible!

Amwell Street, HoddesdonWe booked a table for four for Sunday lunch and upon arrival were given a nice spacious spot near a window with plenty of room to spread out and leave our belongings with us. Service was prompt and the staff were very attentive and friendly. We ordered lamb, turkey and mixed meat roasts which arrived promptly and were very generously proportioned with all the trimmings. The place never felt crowded or overrun and we had a nice, relaxed meal. Total price (including pre-dinner alcoholic drinks and dessert) came in at just over £33 per person which we thought was very reasonable. Would definitely recommend for quality, price and service.

6 Brewery Rd, HoddesdonVery nice pre-theatre dinner at Nonna’s Kitchen. We booked online shortly before arriving around 5.45 on a Friday. Plenty of tables occupied by families having an after school treat. The decor is pleasant and everywhere looked clean. We had arancini and garlic prawns to start, then a pasta and risotto and finally a small dessert each from the glass cabinet. All the food was very nice - mains were hot, nicely cooked and good sized portions. Plenty of seafood in the risotto. Huge choice of desserts (all made on the premises and available to take away). The service was excellent. All the staff were polite and pleasant and we were asked several times whether everything was good. We were out by shortly after 7pm in good time for the show at the Spotlight. I would happily go again.

My go to drink is a frappe mocha with cherry syrup and unfortunately with a dairy allergy I have to have milk alternatives. This cafe Nero is so helpful and accommodating for me and I can’t wait to go back next! Will recommend to friends

They even threw in some cake on the house (delicious!!) Everybody loved it! And the service in the restaurant when ordering/sorting the delivery was great too; really helpful. Will definitely order from them again. Brilliant local restaurant!

We booked a tabke for 7pm on Friday 12th December so near to Christmas but bot fully in to the Christmas season. The pkace had a few tables taken up at the start but got busier as the night went on eith a mix of 2 or 3 covers to a table of about 8 people.
The service was good and they didnt hover or keep coming over. When you wanted their help you called them. This was nice as we iften fell in to long chatting periods and to have been interrupted by the waiters woild have broken the flow of the evening.
The food is cooked freshly to irder so some bits come out before others but I would rather that than gave the stuff that was ready going cold while the ither stuff was prepared. The whole service asoect had a nice, casual but effective mood.
The food was incredible. I had the chicken tikka started, lovely and moist meat and souced perfectly.
I then chose a recommended dish that is one of many house specials, the Garlic Chilli Chicken Tawa. Lovely big pieces of chicken in a rich, medium souced sauce complemented by a chicken tikka naan bread. Lush!
I had a couple of pints of diet coke and a large white coffee to finish with. My friends generally had a few pints of beer and we split the bill with a ressonable tip and it came to £36 each. Very good value.
There's a parking area out the front of the parade of shops plus roadside parking along the street itself.
I have told wifey I will take ger there for a neal soon ideally before Christmas ?

They delivered the meal to Harlow regardless ,delivery driver had smile on their face and it was genuinely excellent meal, probably the best Kung Po beef I've ever had.Would recccomend and would also order from them again if they'd oblige.

We ordered - salmon shashlik - saag aloo - mushroom bhaji - chicken madras - vegetable rice The salmon was unreal, the flavours were amazing, I was so impressed!!! I never tried saag aloo and mushroom bhaji until today and I’m so glad I did, the potatoes are so soft and literally everything was full of flavour!! Delivery didn’t take too long, food was hot, freshly made, tasted amazing, decent sized portions!!! This was a 10/10 takeaway, we never usually get Indian takeaways but we’ll be ordering from here more often!!! I’m so happy and absolutely stuffed!!!

There is a front part of the cafe with a few outdoor seats and tables which are nice when it's warm. There is also a decent amount of space to the back of the cafe so I've never struggled to get a table. English breakfast and American breakfast pictured. Could have done with slightly more syrup on the American breakfast but other than that everything was delicious and the staff super friendly.

57 High St, HoddesdonGenerous and delicious cooked breakfasts, (one gf), eggs boiled to perfection, the non-gf one on nice sourdough bread. Coffee served in thick ceramic cups- vital to keep it at a good temperature and not tepid in minutes. Perfect break in middle of a 240 mile car journey.

Morrisons Cafe
Amwell St, HoddesdonHad a meal here a few weeks ago with my Nephew. I had a full English standard spread 2 slices bacon low quality sausages (X2) but no rusk taste so that's a plus, 2x eggs done well fried but no crispy bits and yoke was runny and good, 2x hash browns crisp and hot, mushrooms soft and tastey, toast was standard white bread cost about £6.75 you can add extras but I didn't as it was well enough. The staff are friendly and attentive my little one had the kids chicken nugget meal came with waffle fries but he is autistic so we asked for chips as he has difficulty eating certain foods so they kindly served with chips and beans in a bowl I think lots of kids like food groups to be served seperate. I thank them for being so kind about this.
