Spectacular food, great service and great price. I was back in Hoddesdon visiting family again having not visited in 5 years and we went to Taste of China. We were amazed at the quality of the food. Very comfortable and the staff were very attentive. See you again next year

My husband and I just had a delivery from this restaurant. The food was bland, the sweet and sour chicken was chewy. We will not use this restaurant again ?

Been there quite alot and normally nice tbh. Got a delivery and I will be throwing it away. Absolutely terrible and waist of money. Did try to tell them before review but they didn't seem interested or concerned in the slightest. Very disappointing will not use or recommend again

I have never had such a bland Chinese in all my time , especially the noodles was so dry and no taste I had to put my own soya sauce , the rice tasted old not fluffy but hard , the wongton soup the dumplings tasted so processed, had also the imperial starter, the ribs was hardly no meat90 percent bone and after all that spending over 30 pounds for one person , they didn’t even include a small bag of rice cracker , they wanted another 3 pounds ,Never again !

Must say that the food here is some of the best Chinese I’ve eaten in UK. Very tasty and full of flavour. Would definitely recommend.

As I said 2 years ago their noodles were burnt. 2 weeks ago I went there with my family and we sent them back. We had nearly finished our meal by the time the sunburnt noodles came. Today I’ve ordered takeaway and made a point of asking for them not to sent burnt noodles but again they did. I will never eat their food again

After our local Chinese disappointed on two consecutive occasions we were looking for an alternative. Friends recommended the Taste of China and tried for the first time going for the Gourmet Set Dinner. Staff happily changed the lamb dish for a chicken and we all throughly enjoyed. Would have given 5 stars but for the decor. Needs updating.
Reading the previous reviews I was shocked at the comments as we just had a really good meal in there. Staff were very nice and the place was spotless. Food was fresh and hot we really couldn’t fault it. We will definitely be back.

Had a take away. Food was absolutely incredible.I have never had food from this Chinese before. I don't live in the area but was there visiting family when we decided to get food from here.I would say this was the best Chinese I had in years. All family really enjoyed.

We ordered a takeaway for collection Saturday 5th November. The bill came to £160 for 8 people which we thought was steep. When collected and started to eat, the chicken dishes were awful with fatty chicken, which was tough and chewy, the shredded duck had green all over it which we threw away have pictures but can't post) The beef dish had a habit in it so couldn't eat that either. Absolutely disgusting! They are using cheap food but charging top prices. We are never eating from here again!! Many year's ago the food here was great..such a shame.Parking: Not great

Our experience at this restaurant has always been very pleasant and enjoyable. The food is always freshly cooked and very tasty. The restaurant is very clean and the staff here are always so polite and attentive. Never had a bad meal.
