We really enjoy coming to Bhan Thai in Potters bar. We enjoy the food so much. The staff are always friendly. I also see lots of people come back again and again. It really is the place to get excellent Thai food.

Absolutely terrible service, didn’t even receive the food despite waiting an hour past the expected delivery time. Received a call from the delivery driver asking for directions to my property and it seemed like he didn’t even understand English, and asked me to come out onto the street to meet him despite telling him that I was immobile to to an injury. Driver left his mobile phone at the restaurant and had to use the mobile phone of a member of the public to call me. Tried to call the restaurant and couldn’t even get through to anybody so was left without food and the restaurant had already taken my money. Avoid this restaurant at all costs.

Nice Thai, reasonable price. Restaurant with a bit of a cafe feel. Food is good. And always reasonably friendly, a safe food option.Edit 5 years later…still very good, the Thai red is yummy

The best Sum Tam I've had outside of Thailand!

Ordered the Pla rad thik for £ 14.90. Fish was stale and stank.Food tasted awful with very small portion size.You will get a full fish for that amount in any other Thai take away restaurant.The sauce was stale and tasted like something that had been microwaved from a big drum. After a few attempts to eat I gave up and binned almost everything .

First visit with a friend that has been many times. Shared 2 mains and a pad Thai. Chicken Teryaki and a Bhan Thai crispy duck. Every mouthful was so tasty we cleared our plates. Lovely friendly service. I will definitely be returning

Really authentic Thai. Cosy, very attentive service, we feel privileged to have such a nice restaurant nearby. The fried squid was crispy and well presented. The weeping tiger sizzling beef steak was perfect cooked medium. Can also recommend the soups, pad Thai and the authentically spiced green curry We missed dessert but it looked temping. Best to book in advance in weekend, even if open most/all days.
