The Old Paparazzi

I had the pleasure of dining a couple of times recently with friends at this charming local restaurant, The Old Paparazzi. The staff were welcoming, and the decor added to the ambiance, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home.
We were offered a selection of olives and beautiful homemade bread, baked by the chef himself while we waited for our main meals. The food was exceptional and absolutely to die for, with each dish bursting with flavours and beautifully presented. There was a great selection of wines to complement the flavours on our plates.
What truly sets this place apart is the chef's attentiveness; he clearly cares about every detail, ensuring each plate is perfect and delivered with care. The combination of exquisite cuisine, stunning presentation, and reasonable prices makes this restaurant a must-visit for anyone seeking a first-class dining experience.

Healthy Corner

We stopped by on our travels, so we’re just relying on ratings and a big veggie menu. Did not disappoint !

Great food, nice portion sizes so absolutely worth the price and ingredients felt quite fresh. And the outdoor seating on a sunny day is cherry on top.

The Black Horse

Just had lunch in this quintessential English pub and as far as my wife and I are concerned it was perfect in every way.
In a time when we are loosing pubs left right and centre, traditional pubs like the Black Horse are a rare find and deserve support. Dont expect fancy decoration or modern lighting! Do expect a warm welcome, good selection of beverages and VERY good food.
Looking forward to returning.

Tamarind

It was my first time trying the food from here.
I have to tell you it was very tasty. Absolutely delicious. Very kind staff and fast service. Will be coming to dine in soon.

Fig Tree Grill

Best Cypriot kebab in the UK by far! The sieftalies are by far the best here. The chicken souvlaki is really soft and tender. Thank you guys, keep up the good work. ?

Cuffley Kebab

Over the last 7 years, have tried all the shops in the surrounding areas. Unfortunately, consistency doesn’t exist with kebab, probably due to ownership changes and maximising profits by purchasing lower quality meats. Now to Cuffley Kebab, several times I have ordered from this establishment and neither time have I been disappointed. The quality of meats is top class. Consistency is right at the very top. Their attentive service is sky high no matter how busy they are. For me, the very best kebab shop. Thank you to all the staff ?

Judges Bar & Restaurant Potters Bar

Booked my wife's birthday celebration for 10. Very pleased with Judges for the way they set up the table, the varied choice offered by their lunch time menu, quality of the food and the professionalism of the staff. All in all a very enjoyable experience and a credit to all involved at Judges (Northaw).

Builders Arms

Lovely characterful local with plenty of parking out back, offering great pub food which is consistently good quality and reasonably priced. The front of house team are always friendly and offer an attentive full table service.

Bones Wing & Burger Bar

Just tried them today at wingmania for the first time .... by far the best wings at the event, the garlic Kiev wing was my favourite of the day and there buffalo was the best buffalo on the day also so much so I bought a bottle of the sauce.... 100% will visit the shop now also

Wood Oven BBQ POTTERS BAR

I had a fantastic experience at The Wood Oven Turkish Restaurant, made even better by Hussain’s exceptional customer service. From the moment we arrived, he was so kind, welcoming, and genuinely chatty, making us feel completely at ease.

He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us, checking in regularly with a friendly smile and great conversation. It’s rare to come across someone who clearly takes so much pride in looking after customers.

Thank you, Hussain, for making our visit so enjoyable… we’ll definitely be back!

Attentive service, freshly cooked. Recommend the pizza with anchovies.

Harvester Oakmere Potters Bar

Yasmine (Manager) was amazing, as always! ? Super busy but had kept the four rotisserie chicken meals ready for collection and personally came out to hand over and wish for new year.
Delicious rotisserie chicken, salads including pasta salad with fab dressing, and fluffy bread rolls.
Excellent service as always! ??

Plough

Food was unbelievable quality and portions were more than enough, also drinks and food reasonably priced, staff very polite and friendly. No colouring books but that could have been as I was an adult.

The Old Manor

The ambience was lovely, the food was nice but sadly the time between each course was far too long.
Don’t understand why when we had pre ordered our food but after waiting 30 mins for dessert and then told it was just being cooked .

Subway

I had a great experience at Subway today! The food was fresh, delicious, and exactly how I like it. Special mention to the store manager and assistant manager Rahul and Sasi – they were very polite, attentive, and quick in preparing my order. Their friendly service made the visit even better. Definitely coming back

The Strafford

First time visit for Sunday lunch on Mothering Sunday. The food was really good, nice and hot, a good size and well priced. All the staff were warm and friendly.

We had a lovely family meal, the food was excellent and the service first class.
Lovely to have a pub close to us in Cuffley with a highly rated restaurant, which is well above your traditional pub food.
We would highly recommend.

Aksular Restaurant

I can't even remember how many times we've ordered, but it's always delicious. The products are of high quality and genuinely fresh. I've tried doner at many places, but I always felt unwell afterwards. Aksular's doner is the tastiest I've ever had here. I'm lucky to have found consistent quality and care with every order over the years. I definitely recommend it! Thank you so much!

The Old Guinea

Very welcomed by staff soon as you walk in, very friendly and very accommodating. Food is good quality for reasonable price. The outside view is second to none! Would recommend

A nice little place good size portions. Lovely staff. Definitely on the food circuit now.Vegetarian options: I had paneer shashlik. Enjoyed it thourghly.Parking: Depending on the time of day, parking is good.

KJ's Unique Chicken

I have been to so many chicken shops and I can say this was the BEST SO FAR. It was delicious. Wings and chicken fillet burger were the best. Can’t wait to come back and so cheap!!

Pizza Express

We turned up last minute it was busy but we got seated and served so quickly. Service with a smile from Megan who was excellent and entertained the kids.

That new Calabrian Feast pizza is the best they've ever done and trust me I've eaten a few.

China Style

Was feeling down and ordered some food and it made our evening!

For reference, I’m half Chinese by the way lol. The sweet and sour was one of the best sauces I’ve tried and the beef chow mein was lovely and tender. My only fault is the sweet and sour pork was slightly overdone but everything else was so lovely.

Compared to other takeaways I like this one and the food from this place tastes how takeaways used to be and how I remember them.

Wok U Like

Gutted that I am too far away for delivery service, this is one of the best chinese around, I do a 40-minute round trip to get food from here when we want chinese. Large portions are always fresh and still hot when we get home. Highly recommend.

The Good Breakfast

A lovely surprise to see a place specialise in this. Thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast and polite service. Price was very fair. Definitely will visit again when passing through.

Oakmere Tea & Dining Room

Great place! Quiet, friendly staff, clean restrooms and the most fantastic salad ever. I ordered the halloumi and falafel salad. My son ate all his nuggets and frys and husband loved the scones.

The Blue Sea Fish and Chips (Cuffley)

Last night was my second time visiting Blue Sea Fish and Chips, and once again the customer service was absolutely top tier.
I stopped by hoping to grab fish and chips, not realising they were already closing. Although they had sold out of fish, the staff kindly offered me their last batch of wings and chips instead. I apologised for arriving so late, especially since I hadn’t realised they were closed, but they were so understanding and accommodating.

To make things even more impressive, I only had my card with me, but they had already closed the till for the evening. When I offered to quickly go across the road and get cash, they refused and simply told me to pay next time I was around. That level of trust, kindness, and generosity is so rare these days.

What stood out most was that the staff were not annoyed in the slightest that I had turned up after closing. Instead, they did everything they could to help me, even though it was clearly an inconvenience for them. They truly went above and beyond.
Places like this are a diamond in the rough these days. Thank you to the team at Blue Sea Fish and Chips for being so caring and accommodating. I’m now a huge fan of both your wings and your fish and chips.
10/10.

Domino's Pizza - Cuffley

I just have to say, their pizza is absolutely delicious! Every time I visit and watch them make the pizzas, I can’t resist ordering. The aroma is incredible, making my mouth water every time. I especially love their Texas BBQ pizza, garlic bread, mix box with optional dips, and their cookies – they are seriously out of this world. I always wonder if they have a special ingredient because they taste so amazing.

I also really appreciate their excellent service. As others have mentioned, the manager is fantastic – respectful, friendly, and always willing to give me a discount. Domino's in Cuffley never fails to impress me with their food and their hospitality.

Costa Coffee

I love this store — the coffee is great and the staff are always nice and friendly. Especially Sathrian, who makes the best coffee here. His latte art is excellent, and the way he prepares the coffee is so welcoming that it makes you want to come back for more. I highly recommend trying a coffee made by Sathrian.

Lovely food with 3 friends on Saturday night. Food great, service really friendly (and funny) and comfortable typical diner setting.
Very much recommend if you can't decide if you're in a sweet or savory mood. Excellent.

I've taken my parents here a couple of times for the Thai food and beer. Food is excellent and found the atmosphere lively and friendly. Service also friendly, timely and professional. Could do with more parking, but then most town centred pubs could. My kind of pub I would recommend it

Medo Coffee & Restaurant

A proper gem of a place. I popped into Medo Coffee & Restaurant for a late lunch and ended up lingering far longer than planned, which is always a good sign. The coffee was rich and spot on, and the food arrived fresh, well-presented, and full of flavour. It’s the sort of spot that works brilliantly for a quick catch-up, a quiet solo bite, or a relaxed meal with mates. The atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, with just the right amount of bustle. Service was courteous and attentive without being over the top. I’d happily make this a regular stop.

Sea Chef

Absolutely beautiful place with really great food, great service and great atmosphere. Recommend to absolutely everyone, also their prices are unbeatable. Bang for your buck and a genuinely good time every time you’re here. I can’t stress enough how the good the food is… very much appreciated Holly, will be coming back every week !

Bhan Thai

I tend to pop in Bhan Thai for lunch, mainly by myself and it’s just so welcoming. And you can get some work done while eating delicious food, fresh ingredients and prepared to your expectations

The staff are very friendly and always have smiles on their faces (genuine smiles)

The prices are great and not once have I been disappointed with their service or food. The perfect little spot for authentic Thai food.

I’m a regular for their; Chicken Noodle Soup (a big bowl of food that definitely fills you up)

Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to just relax and eat well

Regency Chinese Restaurant

A FANTASTIC CHINESE RESTAURANT with a beautiful calming and elegant atmosphere. Staff are super friendly and professional. The food is exceptional - my brother is a fussy professional chef and restaurateur and absolutely loved this place.
This restaurant ticks all the boxes for a perfect evening out or even just a takeaway.

Tavernaki

I only had a white coffee on late afternoon of a gloomy Monday. I just wanted to sit somewhere and have a drink and a fag. They were ready for the dinner service and not in the mood to make a coffee. In fact, the service was impeccable, and my coffee was served in quality croquery. I went through the restaurant to use the commodities and I noticed how the table were perfectly laid out (I have a good eye for I used to be restaurant manager in luxury hotels).
Anyway, by the look of the place, you'd expect nice food. I'd have loved to have dinner there.

Felt like an old fashioned pub atmosphere. Everyone knew everyone else, all walks of life mingling together

Istanbul Kebab

Amazing place! The inviting atmosphere, warm staff, and affordable prices make it a standout gem. The star attractions are the kebabs – grilled to perfection & absolutely delicious. The Halep is my favourite. Been coming to these guys for years and would highly recommend.
