Lunch was good served in the beer garden. We just got back to Canada from a visit to London. We stayed at the Red Lion, Radlett for 5 nights. Room was clean and the stay was very pleasant. What was remarkable was the staff. They were nice, courteous, friendly & very helpful. How can we forget Simona's smile and friendliness or Elicia (who said has been around for just a couple of weeks) but went out of her way by helping us with transportation, ordering Uber and so on. We highly recommend Red Lion & will come back to stay there again.

A decent place with helpful, friendly staff who mitigated our parking issue, Radlett is NOT car park heaven! Room was good but cramped. 2 mins walk from the station to hop on the train into London.Rooms: Nicely decorated, well equipped but tightly packed, I've been in more spacious caravans! That said it did us fine for the night after attending a birthday celebration in London.Nearby activities: It's only 20 or 30 minutes on the train to West Hampstead where you can change to the Underground and London's all yours!Food & drinks: Breakfast was good buy the cask ale I had for a night cap sadly left something to desired.

Went to the Red Lion on 04/05/2023 for lunch with a friend and had a great time! The service was very good and the food served was mouth watering so thank you to the chefs who made the food! We had Dan who brought our food out to us and served us drinks from behind the bar and was very pleasant to speak with. Fantastic outing and will definitely be back.

Popped in on a Sunday for some food and let me tell you - that was one of the top 3 roasts I have had in my life. We both had roast trio plus cauli cheese to share and believe you me when I say - the portions are humongous. I had to ask for a doggy bag because I could not finish it on my own! The beef was perfectly cooked medium rare, pork had nice crackling and chicken was juice af. Definitely will return!

Just spent a long-weekend here in a superior double room on the top floor of this very charismatic building, and what a great stay it was. The room was very large and extremely comfortable with a spacious, modern bathroom. Our window overlooked the street but double-glazed windows ensured that any sounds from outside did not get through. The staff are super-friendly and very helpful. Location is great, opposite the train station and a stone's throw to the stores and coffee shops (loved Brass Monkey!). Highly recommended.
