My recent visit to Jolly Postie in Royston left me absolutely delighted. Accompanied by my sister, we were captivated by the adorable and fun aesthetic of the place. What sets this place apart is the clever use of a post office van as a dining area, adding a unique touch to the experience whilst commemorating on longevity and history of the post officeFor our lunch, we opted for the goats cheese pizza, which was an absolute delight. The flavours were rich and satisfying, making each bite a pleasure. We also indulged in some perfectly cooked fries and a selection of beverages, rounding out our meal perfectly. The staff at Jolly Postie were friendly, checking in to see how our meal went, which I always appreciate. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by Jolly Postie for a meal that combines great food with a charming atmosphere.Vegetarian options: Good range of veggie foodKid-friendliness: Provided high chairs and had kids menu

Went to postie with my daughter for an early Mothers Day lunch. Both had Jacket potato and salad which was lovely. Your salad was probably the best salad we have ever had. Service was great ??

Gone downhill. Roast and service used to be good but very below average now. Such a shame.

We visited on Sunday, 25th February for lunch, meeting up with friends as the Jolly Postie was approximately a half way point between Cambridge and Saffron Walden. We were not disappointed, our waitress, Grace, was super efficient and friendly and was not unfazed when one of our party presented her with a list of allergies to food, carefully checking with the kitchen that all was in order. The food was excellent and well presented. We will definitely be paying further visits.

Very good value and tasty food. The building was a post office They had retained the theme and we sat in an old post van that had been fitted with a table and benches. it was a great unusual experience. Staff were friendly and helpful.
