First time visiting this restaurant and it was top notch. From the minute we worked in the warm welcome by the owner, sorry I didn't ask Bhaisab name, and his team was second to none. The hospitality and food were spot on, as a Bangladeshi I know good Asian food and this was great. You could tell from Bhaisab interaction with his customers that they were all regulars and fans of the restaurant. I love this sort of place, definitely a place to dine with family and friends.

Been here several times and finally got around to leaving a review....
If you know a better Thai nearby, I'd suggest you haven't been here yet......
Oh, I could add a photograph of the tropical rice but where would be the fun in that... If it sounds good, wait until you see it!

Visited the jockey to do some contractual work and I was very kindly fed and watered. OMG, had the noodles and it was like an explosion of flavours, very delicious. Nice place and they have a darts room now. Thankyou again guys

Great countryside location if cycling, as I did. Traditional and rustic inside, a nice place to sit and chat. Staff are great at service, but there can be a delay in them noticing you.
? and ☕ are great, but the choice can be limited. What they do have though, particularly the ? and ginger ?s are devine. Prices are reasonable.
I have visited many times and will continue to do so. Recommended.

we was in for dinner as it was my wife's bday 26th January we been many times an food has always been good but last night it was dry an not very nice but we didn't complain but when I ordered a 2nd round of drink the waitress is asking id from my daughter she's 22 year old and was already drinking gin an the waitress refuse to serve her this completely finished it for us an then to top it off I pay the bill and I'm asked if I want my change in my eyes that is dame right rude so we will not be eating or drinking here again

Went for breakfast with my husband. I had a vegetarian breakfast and my husband had the Heath Breakfast. The food was ok, but the price of two breakfast, NO coffee included was £31. I thought that was a bit much. I checked the prices for food on here and only after we had been I saw they are from 3 years ago. Except for the price that was higher than I anticipated, the food was good.

The best fish n chips in town & further afield for sure!
Always greeted on arrival, cooked fresh, generous chip portions, lovely batter, packaged & bagged perfectly with a wedge of lemon if asked for. You can order ahead online & pay then or upon collection or popin to catch up with the locals & read the several copies of local papers always available. Been several times with large family orders, always a pleasant experience & never been disappointed. Excellent ??

Walked in today with a family member and my daughter and had the burger meal (half price deal Tuesday) was so lovely I really really enjoyed the Rosmary chips aswell and thought the burger was yummy I loved the sauce. 100% recommend and will be going again. Thanks so much great service

Very enjoyable meal for the four of us. All different choices for starters and mains and no complaints whatsoever, although the chicken dopiaza could have had a bit more kick to it. Good sized portions all round and top service. Shade over £120 for the four including a couple of rounds of drinks and poppadoms to start.

I honestly thought I’d walked onto the set of Last of the Summer Wine, Coronation Street, or some other classic TV series — but in the very best way possible! Ladds is full to the rafters with everything I remember from my own childhood, while also stocking up-to-the-minute items that are right on trend.

My favourite part was exploring (and smelling!) the incredible selection of sweets — both old-fashioned and new favourites. Liquorice has always been my all-time favourite, closely followed by chocolate raisins, and they had plenty of both.

Margaret, the owner — and I believe the fourth generation to run the shop — is an absolute delight to spend time with, as are all the staff. You simply can’t do this wonderful place justice with words or photos; it’s something you really need to experience for yourself.

Of particular interest was their cake tin and mould hire service — I never knew this was even a thing! But now I do, and I’ll definitely be passing it on.

A true gem of a shop that’s full of character, memories, and heart.
