How can anyone not like The Heath Cafe!? Stunning location, amazing food and kind and courteous bar staff. Bill, Toby and the team always make you feel like an old friend even if you hardly ever visit. 5 stars well

Yet another superb breakfast! Eating outside, even when it is a little chilly, is such a joy given the splendid surroundings.

Had a friend visiting for lunch and decided to try The Heath cafe. We really enjoyed the food and service was excellent. Lovely catching up with a relaxed atmosphere and a view if the Heath.

This is a great cafe, it's always packed so reserving a table is a wise idea.

Always a welcome stop after a bracing dog walk on the Heath. Great choice of food and drink catering to all preferences and dietary needs. Lovely friendly staff, who go above and beyond to make all welcome.Four legs and two legs treated the same.

Gluten free options and various milk options available. I was very impressed with my smashed avocado on GF toast. Oat, almond, coconut, soya milks available

My partner is just back from the WI Christmas lunch at The Heath Cafe. The food was superb and the service faultless. Her soup and brisket of beef were delicious. She would recommend it without hesitation.

Always a great place to visit, they do nice coffees, have a decent beer and wine selection and have a great selection of breakfast and lunch options. I would particularly recommend the chips, which you can also get covered in cheese. There are often events especially over the summer that are held at the heath cafe and it makes for a great place to visit after a dog walk or going for a run on the heath. It could also be used as a meet up point for people new to royston. The car park is large and free but a bit narrow to get in and out ofParking: Right next to the heath cafe, slightly narrow to get in, at least 150 spots for parking

Had booked table here, table 40! Table very rocky.Very very busy would avoid Saturday lunchtimes, food excellent, but waited 1hr and 15mins for it.The place inside shabby and tatty, not sure what's happening with ceiling, needs a makeover ? No atmosphere!Parking: Loads of parking, but car park very rocky in placesKid-friendliness: Lots of kids running around inside restaurant

We used to love this place being regulars for breakfast or lunch. We haven’t been for a while and visited for breakfast recently. The quality of the food has definitely dropped, the bread isn’t nice at all (used to love the fresh bread previously) , the fried eggs were hard….the “fresh” orange juice is very diluted , hardly tasted of fresh orange juice. Very high prices for what it is. Disappointing visit and would prefer to go somewhere else next time ….
