Very good food, Sunday dinner excellent. Roast and veggie meals eaten. Good friendly service and reasonably priced. A clean and tidy spot. Called back later to watch a game in the bar and have a few drinks, all staff and locals very friendly.Vegetarian options: Very good nut roast.Kid-friendliness: Families catered for.

We chose to hold my husband's surprise birthday party at The Bull because it's our local pub and because it's his favourite. We could not have been looked after any better from start to finish. The function room upstairs was perfect for our 50+ guests, and the catering was spot on (and loads of it too!). We absolutely love this pub - whether its for a homemade Sunday roast, a quick mid-week drink, or a sneaky WFH pub lunch, you won't be disappointed. Their breakfasts on Saturday morning are a bit of a "secret" too - they are delicious, but don't tell everyone or they'll get too busy!!! Definitely recommend this pub if you're looking for a traditional English pub with friendly staff, consistently good food, and great atmosphere.

To start with. The food is amazing. Don't go anywhere else. No joke. The bar staff are all amazing, especially Lou. Lovely woman and goes the extra mile to satisfy. Really like the short one aswell, can't remember her name though.
