A promising start that quickly went downhill. Ordered food at 8pm. Really tasty and good prices. Staff service excellent. By 8.30pm the atmosphere was ruined. Lights turned off and music turned up so loud that we were unable to hold a conversation. We asked if the lights could be put back on in the area we were seated and the music turned down and the lights were put back on but the volume was still so high that we could not hear each other. Lovely pub, fantastic service from Lyndsey and Chloe. Didn't have gammon for my mixed grill so got bacon instead! Absolutely delicious still. Good portions and tasty too! Wonderful family pub for kids as well. ☺️
