We held my Auntie's wake here to celebrate her life. It was lovely ? Everything was perfect. Highly recommend ?

Went here on a Thursday at 3pm so it was very quiet, therefore no atmosphere. The food was less than okay, not much choice and expensive. I won't be going again.

It was my husbands birthday so I asked if they had candles to pop on the desert and the lovely barmaid came out singing happy birthday too. The food was delish as always.

The lady was so rude and unwelcoming. First and last time in the pub. If staff are this rude and not welcoming to people who don’t look English I don’t see them staying open for long. EnfieldIsn’t a white only area but she made me and my wife feel out of place.

Appears to be closed for a long time now and no one has done anything with it.

On Sunday my 93 year old dad and 89 year old mum were taken for a special treat to the Pied Bull by their granddaughter. It was the worst meal they have ever been served. My dad was served a pile of unidentifiable mash with two small dried out sausages on top with gravy poured over the top. No vegetables and the parsnip chips which were supposed to come with the meal, on being served the food, were told parsnip chips were not served midday. The menu was very restricted, nothing like we had experienced on a previous visit, so mum had the only fish available, pollock, served at cod prices, tasteless and wet. The person serving was quite surly and disinterested when they said that they had not enjoyed their meal. So disappointing.

Really nice place, it's a struggle if your 6ft tall as the roof is very low, but all the beams have been protected with foam and brushed leather so it's not to hard on the head.Staff are nice and pleasant but could have a smile with the serviceFood was ok, i had a burger and was burnt but edible, decent portions, but the price is way to high for the quality and portion you get. This isn't the pubs fault, but it's a huge shame the pub just catches the ULEZ charge. This wouldn't be my first choice to eat at, but I would return.

The last 3 times having lunch in this pub I have asked for a Mocha coffee. Twice I was refused because the bartender was too busy to make it and today he couldn't do it because he didn't have a clean glass to put it in. It's a small detail but annoying enough for us to be looking for a new venue from now on ....... one with a bigger reserve of friggin" Mocha glasses!

Amanda and her excellent team provided an absolutely exemplary service for a family funeral reception. Food excellent and great value; great private bar area, cosy and full of character; friendly staff; booking professionally and impeccably managed. Highly recommended.

Pretty decent lunch, wild boar sausages and mash. Couldn't eat all the mash and not enough gravy and peas. Sausages were tasty though. Friend has the beef stew, a bit watery bit she said it had flavour. Xmas pudding was small for £5.50. Cheesecake was nice. Not the cheapest of pub grub, would probably have a sandwich next time.
