1 College Rd, Cheshunt, Waltham CrossI lived near Cheshunt back in 1989 and came back (from New Zealand) recently for a visit and a wander around beside the Lee River. The Fountain Cafe is just superb. Great service and really friendly staff. I had eggs on toast and a cup 'o tea at a table out on the pavement. Set me up for the day. Love this place!

Greek Street
260 High St, Waltham CrossMade a special trip to try Greek Street after seeing it on social media and we weren’t disappointed. Really lovely guy who owns it and knows his stuff when it comes to Greek food. The chicken gyros was absolutely incredible, one of the best I’ve eaten, even in Greece! The Greek salad was also spot on. If you like Greek food, give it a go. We will be back ☺️

Despite being overbooked managed to seat us on one of the best tables. Fantastic service, attention paid to both presentation and taste. The food was aesthetically pleasing & mouth watering delicious. Highly recommend the hot mezze, lamb liver, mussakka, chops and sharing platter. Authentic Turkish cuisine in a family oriented setting.Parking: Ample parking on the Main Street and side roads.

My daughter and her friends had the best time doing the easter egg hunt, decorating biscuits and easter crafts whilst the adults enjoyed some drinks and lunch (food was lovely) in the sun. The staff were so friendly and accommodating and couldn't do enough for you. Would highly recommend, we will be back for sure ?

Runny eggs with crunchy whites, curry substantial and well-presented.Best part was the service. Really 'on it' team that seemed to care. Tables cleaned straight after people left, very fast service with drinks turning up as soon as the app put down.Couldn't really ask for much more really, along with the usual good prices. (£2.50-ish for a pint of ice cold Stowford remains remarkable.)Very pleasantly surprised as wasn't expecting much at a busy time in Waltham Cross.

The service was great, the staff were very attentive and didn’t leave us hanging around long between courses or when we wanted to pay. The food was lovely and GREAT value for money. We paid £19pp for the set menu which left us feeling full and came with a pot of Chinese tea after dinner. Overall it was 10/10 for us and we look forward to coming back.
