Just Meat Smoke and BBQ
192 Eleanor Cross Rd, Waltham CrossI was riding a road bike close to the Lea Valley and Waltham Abbey. After riding for over 5 hours straight, I was quite hungry. Google recommended Smoke & BBQ when I requested it to locate some halal restaurants nearby me. I usually don't rely just on Google, but today I was at a loss for what to do.
When I went to order the food, I saw a long queue. I ordered some spicy wings, a cheeseburger with fries, smoked beef sausages, and a milkshake after finding a table outdoors in 10 minutes.
Since I noticed a rush in front of the restaurant, I honestly believed that it would take about 20 minutes for the food to reach my table, but I was once again mistaken. Within 7-8 minutes, all of the meal was delivered.
Although I'm not a food reviewer, I was befuddled after eating it. The burger patty was so perfectly cooked that it seemed like the cheese was melting in my tongue. I've been in the UK for 4 months, yet I haven't had any of these incredible halal dishes. I was attempting to sneak a peak into their kitchen when I noticed the chef chopping tender, juicy beef short ribs close to the smoker. I will surely try that the next time.
Note: The Nutella milkshake I had was a little too sweet. I'm not a big fan of sweet. After I notified the waiter about it, he then promptly passed my criticism to the owner. My milkshake order was then changed to a different flavor by the proprietor. They offered me a free Kinder Bueno milkshake within two minutes and told me that they couldn't regulate the quantity of sugar in Nutella milkshakes and they are sorry for that. Thus, ten out of ten for their service as well.
While I was eating, I totally forgot to take some snaps. However, I'll do my best to include some mouthwatering pictures of the menu items on my next visit.

She also brought our daughter who we celebrated her 9th birthday an ice cream ? with happy birthday written beautifully around the plate. She was smiley and just very welcoming.

The staff are polite, friendly, welcoming, and always remember our orders, which is lovely,
We generally have a pram with us when attending the cafe and there is always enough space for us to park the pram, without disturbing our meal, the staff, or other diners.
The breakfasts are always delicious and extremely reasonably priced, given the quality of the food. Service is always swift and professional. They also always allow my son’s to choose the specific lollipop that they want before leaving, which my sons look forward to every time.
The cafe is always busy, which is testament to the quality of both the food and service, however it never feels too loud for us to converse normally.
I really do love this cafe and will continue to return for the foreseeable future.

207a High St, Waltham CrossI was in the area and was hungry, and the exterior of Vine struck me; it's a really beautiful building from the outside. On a summer day this place must be terrific, as there are lots of picnic benches outside.
The inside is pleasant too, with a rustic vibe throughout. There was football on the television when I visited, which brought with it a demographic that leaned towards 'young blokes'. No rowdy behaviour; just boys enjoying the match.
I ordered a meat feast pizza and a pint, both of which were terrific, although the pizza was a little heavy on the garlic. That said, I love garlic!
The staff were friendly and super-attentive, and I'll certainly pop back in the next time I'm in the area and hungry. Hopefully the sun will be shining too!

Food is a tad on the expensive side but is nice and enjoyable and the service can’t be faulted …the bar staff are very friendly , top notch to be honest . Overall a fantastic little pub hidden away just off the A10 . I will definitely be visiting again . ????

Drinks were pineapple juice,apple cider,orange juice.
Came with prawn crackers.
Friendly quick service,atmosphere was great and everything was so delicious (first time trying the shredded smoked chicken because shredded chicken wasn't on the menu,and I was so scared that I wasn't going to like it but I loved it,glad I got it?).

They have an outside bar and regular entertainment and events.
Inside is very cosy with numerous alcoves where you can sit and can also cater for larger numbers. Outside is absolutely gorgeous it's very big with many tables - it has a wonderful garden atmosphere that anyone would enjoy. They also have an outside bar that is open at specific times.
Depending on what time you go there it can be very quiet or very busy.

Ive never had a taco before so (luckily) my man told me how small tacos are, regardless, we ordered 2x tacos, a beefy cheese griller, monster fries, monster burrito and 2x seasoned tortilla chips, and let me say, this was amazing. We both LOVED the tortilla chips, had great crunch/texture and were seasoned so good! This being my first ever taco i thoroughly enjoyed this, i asked my boyfriend to give me his opinion and he gave the big thumbs up and claimed it was the “best he's ever tried” Cannot get enough of how good this was. He gives his burrito a big thumbs up “10/10 great texture” (we are very big on texture) and i also very enjoyed the beefy cheese griller, the balance and ratio of cheese with the meat was amazing. We did not get to fully eat the fries as we were both STUFFED but the presentation was great and from the few bites we had it was great. For the price it was really good too. Really do give this restaurant a 10/10 and was an amazing first time taco experience. Will definitely be our new comfort kitchen

Every time I go in there the staff are friendly, portion sizes are great value for money,like you ask for large chips you get exactly that! and the chips are as you expect them to be,light and fluffy,real potatoes.
Fish is always nice,fresh and crispy.
I have restaurants more local to me but I'd rather pick up from this one.
I have never been disappointed with a meal so far. I highly recommend them.
