The computer screen ordering has made the process difficult, the software clearly needs tweaking. I'm concerned this is just another business using automation to decrease costs whilst degrading the customer experience. The person in the shop was extremely helpful, but I want to talk to, and see a real person.

The Subway in Ware has introduced three standing computers for orders, resembling McDonald's. While the staff is friendly and helpful, the recent changes make it difficult to observe the quantity of food added to your sandwich. I ordered a meatball marinara with a 6-inch hearty bread including lettuce, sweetcorn, and garlic sauce. However, upon receiving the order, I was absolutely stunned. The portion was noticeably smaller, and the sandwich looked unappealing. When I mentioned this to the staff, they insisted it was the usual practice. I paid nearly £9 for the meal deal and wasn't satisfied. I requested more marinara sauce, but even with the addition, the sandwich remained unappealing. This experience leaves me extremely disappointed, and it seems Subway is reducing portions while increasing prices, which feels like pure greed.The Subway just lost a customer, and I believe they will lose more.
