My dear husband researched and found this gem. The batter on the fish was the best and my fish stew was delicious.

Had a takeaway from here for the first time the other day and it was fantastic. It's quite expensive compared to other fish and chips I've had but I guess you pay for quality. The fish was amazing, tasty and light batter, not greasy at all. Will be ordering from here again soon (maybe on payday ?)

There is only one way this review can go and that is five stars! Wow the staff work so hard! We went on a Saturday night and they were working their socks off, and the open plan kitchen means you can get to watch everyone. We had the skate and chips and also seafood pie and chips. We were extra pleased to be able to have good wine as well, I had Oyster Bay, my favourite. We were able to park easily nearby and were really pleased to find great food, attentive and very friendly and competent staff, and a relaxing ambience, on a Saturday night.

How wonderful to find gluten free fish and chips without having to worry. The fish was excellent, tasty and crispy, and it was brilliant to talk to the owners about their business while it cooked, will definitely be going back again!

Always a pleasure to get fish and chips from here. Love that it's all gluten free.

Best fish and chips around! Wouldn’t go anywhere else. All fresh and made in house.

We enjoy the food here and pleased to have it gluten free. Really tasty and fresh though feel the large sizes of the fish and chips could be a bit larger when comparing to other places. Used to visit more regularly though due to the price for a family order it’s become less viable to go regularly.

The best fish and chips in the area. Bit ashamed, lived in Hertford for about 30 years and never realised you could sit down and eat it in this amazing little fish and chip shop. First class, I had plaice and chips with mushy peas. Welcoming and friendly service. Will definitely be back.

This was a great fish and chip restaurant. But sadly has now gone down hill. We had a take away tonight and the fish was so dry most of it went in the bin. I won’t be going back again.☹️?

Myself and some friends had a meal here today and I can honestly say it was the best gluten free fish and chips I've ever had. Along with the food came a warm welcome on arrival and seen to our table. The service was very friendly. I would highly recommend ?
