I’ve been craving fish and chips this evening and glad I ended up here. This is not my first time eating here, but it is my first time ordering the traditional fish and chip option from the menu, the cod.The chips have always been pretty good, my wife is vegetarian and doesn’t like chips that have a lingering smell that some chippys have.The star of the show for me was the cod. The batter was perfection. It was delicate and crisp, it’s hard to explain but it didn’t seem over battered or too thick, it was just right. It was cooked fresh to order but not too greasy by the time I got it home. Now this is a personal preference, but I felt like it could do with a little more seasoning, to lift the flavour of the cod. However I’m not going to downvote it for this as I still really enjoyed it. So much so that I felt compelled to leave a review after just finishing my meal.I’ve ordered the hot wings on my previous visits and they’re good too - not like your normal chicken shop stuff, this is far better.Definitely, top of the list for the best chippy around the area. Great service and everyone is super friendly and polite.

Ordered on delivery app, really disappointing, chips a soggy mess felt like a complete waste of money. They send the chips in a Styrofoam box so they were completely wet and inedible, threw away as it was so

Visited on a weekday lunch time, noticed the only items in the hot tray were chicken wings and sausages. Ordered fish and chips and the food was freshly cooked to order (as it was for later customers). The batter was crispy and not oily, fish was fresh, chips were ok, portions were generous, prices were good. However I left a little disappointed with the overall taste; from the many good reviews I was expecting an out of this world experience - maybe I should have put more salt and vinegar!

Amazing quality, queue out the door says it for its self. The chips were fabulous, you can tell they clean their oil as they were so beautifully cooked. Fish was stunning So quick and efficiently even when busy. Always consistent.
Always come here - whether it's fish, pie or saveloy the food is excellent and you can eat in as well. The staff are always friendly. Highly
