However, we stopped off for a meal of good ol' fish and chips and we weren't disappointed.I went into the establishment and made my order. Two fish and chips, tartare sauce and mushy peas. While I was waiting and watching the gents (Kashmiri, with the requisite sense of humour) were close to overwhelmed with the number of orders being prepared. There's an old expression from Australia that goes: "Busier than a one-armed cab driver with a bad case of the crabs." This was certainly the case at The Viking Fish and Chips.The food was delicious. The Cod cooked to perfection, the chips crispy with some scraps.Totally enjoyable and filling. Highly recommended.

Placed an order online for delivery, received two confirmation emails and then after over an hour of waiting phoned to check. They said they’d cancelled my order without notifying me. Terrible service.
They have a Halal sign, but they also have non halal stuff on the menu.Please ask before ordering for Halal stuff.

Jokers! Didn’t send half the order requested abd ciyldnt get hold of them to rectify error. Absolute cowboys! All contact numbers tried and didn’t work. They just hide behind apps like just eat etc.

This has to be the best fish, chip and kebab shop in the county. We order from here at least twice a month if not weekly! Everything is very fresh almost every single time, and even when it's not been cooked immediately before serving it's still good. The kebabs have plenty of salad, they're made exactly how you want them, the kebab and chilli sauces are actually hot, the meat is cooked with searing, the grilled veg is amazing. Just every part of the kebab is how it should be. The fish is fresh and the portions are generous.
