I stopped off off at this street side cafe. From the outside you would not be able to differentiate from any other. However, on entry you find the place to have a very welcome atmosphere and is popular with the locals. I chose the Tutor Special - 2 eggs, 2 sausages, 2 bacon, 2 hash browns, 2 black pudding and backed beans. I was not disappointed at the meal was served on a huge plate, which had properly been walmed before use, and my poached eggs were runny as requested - indeed all items were cooked to perfection and were still hot enough until the end. I don't know I managed to eat it all! It came with two slices of toast with BUTTER, not cheap margarine. I highly recommend this cafe. The service was very good and the staff friendly. Families are welcome. They cater for vegetarians and dietary requirements. Toilets lovely and clean (BTA)

I get my lunch here often as I work close by. We tend to take out our lunch rather than eat in but it seems like a family friendly atmosphere. The staff are really nice and always welcoming and the food is delicious! I always get a jacket potato and the salad that comes with it is just yummy too!

Lovely well cooked food, served in good time too. My wife said her panini was the nicest one she's had in years. Staff friendly and welcoming

When we went to visit relatives I didn't expect to have a fry up on a Bank Holiday but we ended up in their local greasy spoon and I wasn't disappointed. Fast, friendly service, tasty food and good value.
