Cafes in Welwyn Garden City

“My family and I have been coming here for years and we absolutely love it here. My mum orders the same every time she goes in here, and they remember her order every time? we went in there yesterday, one of the waiters sees my mum walking in and says ‘someone get this woman a cheese omelette with chips!’ it made us laugh! It’s so lovely to watch how this little cafe has grown in popularity over the years, it’s the best! We love you cafe trio ? ?”

“Coffee is OK, not anything special just regular coffee, nice selection of cakes and biscuits, I had an éclair which was very good, the caramel shortbread are good too. I like the pizza's they do from 11am onwards as well. Very reasonable prices.”

“Decent breakfast but expensive (£30 for a regular breakfast, pancakes & waffles + tea/coffees)Much cheaper in Spoons just up the road but there you have to climb over the mobility scooters to get in and avoid the fights once insideWhere to go to next time? ...This is worse than Sophie's Choice (Meryl Streep Best Actress Winner 1983)”

“Good service though a little on the pricey side. Nice balcony to sit on and look out to the gardens.”

“A welcome opportunity to rest and refresh halfway through a Saturday ramble through countryside around Welwyn Garden City. Unfortunately, service was a little slow - owing to the branch being woefully understaffed for such a popular cafe. However, those there did their best and a slightly longer pause was also a blessing in the circumstances. The coffee was reinvigorating and fuelled the rest of the ramble.”
