“Had a late afternoon MRI scan in Newport and really didn't want to have to cook afterwards. So I planned a visit to the pub on our way home. we had the beef & Stilton pie and wow that filled us up! lovely veg and gravy made the meal perfect... Outstanding food and not overpriced either! A1”

“Went here on a whim as saw the new reviews. Was stunned to see how the new owners have changed things for the better. Everything fresh and local, never heard of farm to fork before but you can tell from the quality of the meat. Really cosy date night vibes in the evening. Food was absolutely lovely and well presented. Staff were friendly and attentive. Oh and there's chickens outside ? Honestly, what more can you ask for! This place offers such a better experience than some of the other pubs in the area.”
