Walkers Ln, Shorwell, NewportLovely pub in a beautiful village. Very welcoming staff and excellent food. We visited for lunch , the menu was great with something for everyone and all meals home cooked. There’s a large garden with a play area for youngsters. Perfectly placed if you want to walk in the local stunning countryside too, it’s on the 6 mile circular walking route. Highly recommended.

Main Rd, Porchfield, NewportHad a late afternoon MRI scan in Newport and really didn't want to have to cook afterwards. So I planned a visit to the pub on our way home. we had the beef & Stilton pie and wow that filled us up! lovely veg and gravy made the meal perfect... Outstanding food and not overpriced either! A1

Sun Hill, Calbourne, NewportMid-week out of season so a little quiet on the evening we were there. However the food was excellent, the service very good, the music to my taste (but not intrusive) and I would recommend this pub to anyone.
