If you like traditional old style Balti House then this is for you! Photos of Richard Branson on the wall from a'few' years ago.Food was excellent quality - mushroom balti, a vegetable dhansak, dal tarka - came with a rice and naan bread ! Fantastic value.BYOB ... M&S or Sainsburys nearby keeps the ££s low!Great place for a proper curry.

The only halal restaurant we could find at a walking distance from out accommodation. Food was average but we were served papdums and chutneys that we didnt order and we were charged 9 pounds for them. When we enquired the waiters about the charges on the bill, we were told they are not complimentary. It was just a bad experience. Wont go again.

I have never been made so unwelcome in a restaurant in my life. Whilst it was during Cowes week, they welcomed us when we wanted to eat and could not get us out quickly enough when we finished. I actually raised it with them, and they acknowledged that they wanted us out. I will not be back and would recommend others to go to different curry houses, which frankly, offer better food.

Went here to get takeaway. Their service is really good. The person in charge was very welcoming and hospitable.We ordered Plain Naan, Tandoori Khazana (which is a mixture of different Tandoori kebabs) and Sabzi e Bahar. Each one of them were mouthwatering. They gave us complimentary popadams with chutney and gave us one extra rice as well! The price is decent too.Unfortunately, we were very tired after an amazing day in the Isle of Wight so didn't have the energy to take pictures. But highly highly recommend this place.Also, the food here is Halal.

Wonderfully welcoming and delicious curry. I had the Bahar curry which is the house specialty. We were offered free poppadoms and salad.The curry tasted excellent and would recommend.

Good value, tasty Indian. No issues whatsoever. Be aware that it's not licenced so you can bring your own alcohol. Also, I did actually need to send my meal back initially because it wasn't spicy in the slightest even though I'd made the effort of checking before I ordered and was assured that medium really was medium . So, a little bit irritated with that. Even so, I'd return

We love this little gem of a tandoori restaurant. Whenever we stay in Wales we eat here as the atmosphere is amazing, the staff are great, friendly and very happy, helpful and smile even when run off their feet. Everybody should visit these guys and enjoy the whole experience. Such a little gem of a restaurant on Newtown. Raki (I think his name is) is an absolute credit to the front of house and always has a huge smile on his face, along with two other staff. They had a young boy on work experience who was absolutely loving shadowing the staff and learning about customer service.
