Used to be our regular stop in Cowes for chips. £15.00 for 2 battered sausages and 3 chips (portions have definitely got smaller). Had a few uncooked chips but worse thing was the uncooked battered sausage the batter was very dry and the inside pink. Returned and was informed that they probed them so should be cooked. only got the sausages refunded.

Good chips , nice food at decent prices . Nothing special and nothing fun like salt and pepper just a normal southern chippy .They are cash only .

Lovely fish tank and chips can't beat it I would recommend anybody to go back there as they're under new management

Weekly treat! Deep fried chicken leg and chips! A dish that is very hard to find and should never be confused with a well known international chain

Chips undercooked and soggy needed at least another 5 minutes. Curry sauce inedible - watery and flavourless. Bap was hard with no butter. Very disappointing.

Lovely pie and chips, the young lad behind the counters attitude needs a bit of work on though

First experience was well over an hour wait and the wrong order (so 1.5 hrs at least, later we ordered pizza instead and got refund on Chips)A year on....just as they open we have reheated, brown chips!!!!! Going back for refund. Will never use again, shame for locals. Not fit for purpose! Will never EVER use againRUDE STAFF, TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL.Would love to add a photo ofthe chips! Brown and burnt. No wonder why there is no que or anyone at 5.45m on a Saturday night.... Says it all!!!!

Ok. Friendly. Order delayed as they forgot to cook part of it. No apology. Soggy white wrapped chips, typical of most English chippies now. (Chinese takeaway chips arr much better, brown & crispy, like chips should be!) Pre-cooked chips, kept warm, only lukewarm when I got home 8 mins.later. O dear.

I'm unsure what's what's happend if it's new management or staff but the management need to train them better, dirty floors with chips everywhere is your first sight coming into the shop followed by quiet non communicating staff, they don't speak to eachother the orders getting mixed up, waited 40 mins for basic meal chap cooking has no hair net and is abrupt with the other staff not to mention kicking chips about that fell out the scoop. Someone sat on the fridge out the back on there phone whilst people are stood waiting I don't even blaim the kids working in there its the management that should give better advice and training, nipper wrapped my chips so tight they were smashed together, honeslty was lovely before but its just abit dirty now

I thought I would support the local Fish & Chip shop and unfortunately they were the worst I have ever had.The fish was a best ok but the chips a mass of soggy under cooked mess I hate leaving negative reviews but Iam being total honest I will not be using them again sorry.

If you like cold fish and chips prepared by fresh-faced teenagers, this is the place for you. If not, best take your custom elsewhere.
