Great atmosphere, Drinks and food are really good but I’m afraid every time I visit this place (5 times) the staff and service is always terrible, which is such a shame because it’s a lovely place. The service is SO SLOW even if you’re the only group in there, especially if you’re wanting additional drinks. The staff avoid making eye contact so they don’t have to come over to you, and if you go to the bar your made to feel like your bothering them. Every staff member is the same apart from one fair haired male who is ALOT more attentive and seems like he actually likes his job.

Great place for cocktails on cowes High Street. Been multiple times and everytime the drinks have been amazing. Loved the bar snacks to eat with our drinks.

Drinks were awesome, worth the price. Just a small shame the experience wasn’t, service isn’t the same quality as the drinks. considering there were only two tables at the time, even making cocktails seemed to be too much effort and trouble which considering this is a cocktail bar felt uncomfortable. Although incredibly nice drinks, had one and left to somewhere more welcoming.

A stylish bar and very central. It was a complete shame to listen to who I believe was the manager (a short woman with brown hair) be so rude to Ralph & Charlotte the waiting staff. Both of whom were very pleasant! We enjoyed the drinks however, did not enjoy overhearing the atrocious woman be so rude to her colleagues. This woman alone is why I would not recommend returning…..due to her ruining the atmosphere!

We must have picked a bad day during Cowes Week. Nice interior . We ordered cheese and caramelised onion Paninis but it was all overly sweet onion and virtually no cheese. The staff did not wait on us at all except to bring what we ordered. We would’ve had coffee and perhaps some cake afterwards but no one ever came back to our table. They tried to charge us double at the end but luckily we spotted the error in the bill. Overall not a good experience.

We booked out compass bar for my friends hen do and they were absolutely brilliant! The space was perfect for us and the team was super attentive and did a fantastic job on the food and the drinks we ordered! Can’t recommend enough, they are honestly the best!
