Kid-friendliness: Owner and head kitchen chef are nativity person's, so please don't worry asking any questions about your culinary Spanish journeys. I suggested trying natural growing olive's or dally chef special and finish with original basque coffee

What a wonderful experience.. I found this little gem after reading a few reviews on placed in the area and I'm glad we picked it. From the minute we walked in we were welcomed with smiles and explained all the specials. We started with a cocktail which was very very good and followed by more. We decided on the chefs special which came with bread and olives to start and then what ever the chef was in the mood for after.. dish after dish we very much enjoyed every plate.. even much so that we ordered two more dishes after as we wanted them again!!. The service from Izzy in particular made our night even more enjoyable and you could tell from the packed restaurant we were not the only ones enjoying ourselves.. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Absolutely atrocious service and food. The owner completely unapologetic about both!Food was slow and everyone else had finished eating when the last few mains were brought out.Even after complaining we were expected to pay for the whole meal! One to avoid I think!Wouldn’t even give one star if possible!

Utterly atrocious service and food. Will not be going back! When we complained the owner was completely unapologetic and still charged us full price. Will not be visiting again and one to avoid!

Friendly staff, but food although tasty extremely expensive. Peppers from a jar, too many potatoes to bulk out the dish. Tapas OK but wouldn't return for a main dish as overpriced for quality and content.

We had amazing food and brilliant service. Pata baravas for starter which was soooo yummy and I have a steak which was perfectly cooked rare and a tasty piece of meat, while Annie had her usual chicken and chorizo which had amazing tastes and was cooked perfectly. The wines were delicious and the whole meal was reasonably priced. We sat outside with an amazing atmosphere and all the other customers where lovely - a testament to the restaurant.Definitely our cowes go to restaurant.

Most delicious tapas.calamari mojo Verde, Gambas al ajillo, mussels, The main fish of the day - Grilled halibut with roasted garlic stem broccoli...Out of this world. Pork pluma with sweet piquilo peppers. So good. And the house red wine. Basque cheese cake, Barraquido. Oh my gosh.... everything was so yummy. Great service from all the staff. And it was lovely to chat with the chef Michael.. thank you all so much for such a lovely memorable evening. Wish I had taken some pictures of the food. ❤️❤️❤️

Visited as part of a large party ~20 people. Staff were very welcoming on arrival, plenty of staff working. Waitresses promptly took our drinks and then food. Drinks were slow to arrive, cocktails not shaken with ice so like warm. Some drinks were prompt and some took upwards of 45 mins. Perhaps due to 1 member of staff making them at a time. Food was quick and hot! Highlights being the bravas and the 1kg sharer steak, beautifully cooked and tasted fantastic. Unfortunately portion sizes varied, the sharer dishes were excellent value for money and stars of the show. Lamb ‘cutlets’ were in fact a singular cutlet. And the seasonal ‘vegetables’ was a singular piece of aubergine. Obviously being a large party food came consistently out, not having to wait too long to order. Only a few desserts (3) were ordered along with a few coffees (6) which took an AGE to come, as their machine capacity was limited. The last coffee was almost an hour after ordering. Staff were fantastic throughout and the food tasted perfectly. Just wish a few of the tapas dishes were slightly larger to reflect their prices. Would visit again and would recommend despite some shortcomings.

A last minute booking, but got a table and had a fabulous meal with great wine. A small busy restaurant but super atmosphere. Great ribeye steak, croquettas, calamari & patatas bravas ?

Fabulous authentic Spanish food with friendly and efficient service from enthusiastic staff. Reasonable prices and well worth a visit.

Very poor service despite an abundance of staff - horrendously slow to order, receive food and pay. Flavours were pleasant, though food was served tepid. There are better places to go in Cowes.
