For visitors seeking a refined and cosy pub experience on the Isle of Wight, The Union Inn offers a welcome respite. Situated within steps of the seafront, it boasts a serene ambience with rooms that have captivating sea views, making it a truly unique destination. Don't be put off that it is a pub, you can't hear people downstairs at all from the lovely rooms above. People who stay also have their own entrance - next to the pub's, so it feels safe and secure when going to and from. The food is also fantastic! What a great little B&B in a fantastic location - perfect for a peaceful time away.

Lovely old pub feel, locals friendly, food looked fantastic ? sadly barmaid was frosty and rude.

We popped in for a few drinks over the Xmas period.Did not get any welcome or smile from staff. There was a bald guy who must be the landlord who looked at strangers who came into the pub like he recognised them from crime watch, he gave me a good staring at for a while. We did not have food or stayed there so cannot comment on that.We had a few drinks and decided to have one more before we moved on.Unfortunately there was no alcohol in any of them.We got the thought that the ‘possible landlord’ did not like ‘our sort’ and this was his way of telling us to leave.I took a picture of the inside of the pub and on when I had a look, the guy was hiding his face!A very strange experience indeed and Fullers will be informed.

A nice looking pub. Sign says everyone and everything welcome on the front but the barmaid couldn't be any more opposite to this. Really put a downer on the pub.

Nice pub, I believe they do rooms and food but had neither, bar maid not very attentive or smiley, shame as this would definitely of enhanced the experience, but all in all warm ,cosy and a good stop off to warm up.
