A beautiful haven on the Medina with Richardsons yard to hand if any work or parts are needed

I found the staff very helpful, honest and I look forward to a return visit

Nice marina and they they have some great deals on haul out, scrub off and relaunch. Time blocked up on the hard is reasonable too. Also handy is the well stocked chandlery run by Richardson's. It's hand for us as we moor our boat on the river. Shame it's in administration as that sad state has resulted in the restaurant closing. If one of the big marina's takes it over I'm sure prices will go up ☹️

First class service, friendly staff with good facilities including good chandlery

Interesting patch off the main drag

Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely setting easy to walk into Newport or down to the Folly inn. Having a lock to this marina makes it very accessible.

Lovely views and plesent place to walk.
Spike McIntosh
Nice place to sit and watch the boats go through the lock. The guy operating the locks is great super cheerful.

Easily our fav Solent Marina. We have never, ever, had a bad experience here. The weather is always superb, (but that's a variable) BUT the welcome is always warm, and that's a given. Superb helpful lock staff, clear instructions, unfailingly pleasant.
Good shelter. Fair daytime access depending on time. Helpful staff and well stocked Chandlery. However restaurant now closed and gents facilities constantly awash was disappointing for the price

Lovely quiet location, with marina surrounding.Shame restaurant & bar closed ( for good at present) as ment had to drive everywhere except we did find The Folly along the estuary 20 mins walk which was fab. Definitely worth a visit.

Hard to know what say here really, it’s a Marina & it has boats, lots of them! There’s the original Spice Girls bus to see, as well as They Ryde Queen, rusting away ?Since the restaurant closed down there’s nowhere to eat or drink.

A lovely walk can be had around this area. You can come in from Newport and walk a mile or so to reach the marina, go across the lock gates (which is attended through the day) walk another 20 mins you will come to the Folly Inn. See my other review for the Folly Inn. There is the old wreck of the PS Ryde, which makes for a good photo.

We visited island harbour to visit friends on a boat, I'd like to say well done to all the staff during administration your doing a great job. Our friends said standards are all still great and tower staff mark and christian were as friendly as always. The grass was freshly cut and the two maintenance men looked as if they had been busy keeping the place looking its best. The marina users were all happy even with the breeze closed. we sat and had drinks and picnics on the tables so wasnt disapointed. There were some rallys in so all was busy down there, the ladies cleaning toilets are doing a great job. Hopefully we're be back after the festival with our boat for a long weekend.
Tidy marina, with polite and helpful staff.
