Lovely Saturday lunch at the Three Bishops! Some of our party were cycling around the Isle of Wight and we met up here as a mid way point for lunch. The lunch was lovely - we had burgers, wraps, and a bangers and mash and all was delicious. A really good range of drinks too, even 0% beers for the drivers. Most memorable though was the wonderful service we received, the staff were really friendly and helpful. We sat outside where it was a bit cool but the pub kindly had hats and gloves you could borrow if you got chilly. I'm embarrassed to admit my 1 year old accidentally left with the hat but we will return it next time we're in the area! Thank you for a lovely lunch.

Been here a few times, albeit under different management. We attended for Christmas dinner this year under the new owners, the food was lovely, very prompt, beer flowed freely and the service was great. The single 'issue' was we queued to pay, and that was another customers fault for their card not working, so not the pubs at all.Needless to say when we are back on the island and nearby we shall be coming back.I wish the new owners the best of luck.

We braved the rain and floods !! To get to the pub … quiet time as the weather was dire and it’s January!…one of us chose pub classic ..scampi and chips … great home made chips ??? and I chose Vietnamese prawn curry (never had it before but like curry !)… and it was delicious … lovely little pops of flavour from pomegranate seeds and spring onions slivers …it was so good … highly recommended .. and mother and daughter team were a delight ❤️

I stayed here for 2 nights in the adjoining accommodation from Boxing Day. I absolutely loved it. The food was great, the room was lovely and clean and comfortable. There was also a very festive atmosphere which we felt very much part of. Will stay again!

Lovely place for Christmas lunch! We are a huge table and service was great. Everyone was so helpful and friendly, this is a great village pub serving some delicious food. Highly recommended!

Me and my partner went there for a rare date night,Food was great can't fault it. Table wasn't ready when we got there, and we had booked a week earlier, Table service was terrible, no cutlery, my partner had to go find some, also offered no condiments, it's a shame that the service let it down, don't know if we'd go back ?

I ordered the Beef Roast. £15.50 + wine It looked okay when it arrived. I was taken aback by the big amount on the plate and then got the realisation of ‘oh its one of these meals’ probably microwaved in parts :( sadly the food and gravy was cold and tasteless which was odd because it looked like it was going to be really tasty. Left most of it. Sorry would not order food here again.

Great venue, in lovely village.Good food choices, very tasty, well priced. Super staff, friendly, attentive and helpful.Only gripe is lack of comfort seating areas if not eating.

With the menu changing seasonally, plus the regular pub favourites often with a spicy twist or kick on offer, whatever you prefer, it’s hard to find fault with both the friendly & amenable service nor the carefully prepared gastronomic delights. I ordered the Korean Sesame-fried Chicken Burger, asked for the Satay sauce instead of the regular spicy sauce served with the dish & opted for the Salt & Chilli Chips instead of the regular fries. Needless to say, my eyes were rolling back in my head with the taste sensation! Thanks to Tracey & Steph (behind the bar) & Jason in the kitchen! Be back soon!

Cosy, clean, well decorated and welcoming pub. Unfortunately service was chaotic. Rarely someone behind the bar, food took over 1 1/2 hrs to be served, with no prior warning that this would be the case. Only 1 chef, rushed off his feet. Food from the 'A la Carte' menu was mediocre, bland and poorly presented - not worthy of the description of 'pub grub', and certainly not worth the price. Such a shame as the Three Bishops has so much potential. Disappointed to see from reviews that this wasn't a one off, hopefully they can up their game.
