We visited today and we're very impressed.The food was delicious, especially the homemade tartare sauce. And the portion sizes were generous. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and there was a very nice atmosphere.It was the best fish and chips we've had from a fish and chips shop. When we return to IOW for future holidays we will definitely be returning!

Extensive menu. Had Cod and chips, large portion, very tasty, cooked fresh with short wait and reasonably priced. 10 minutes from Travelodge and worth the walk.

This is a cash only establishment.We had to wait at least 30 minutes for our meal but it was a Friday and they were busy with takeaways.However it was the best fish and chips we have had for a long time, we will certainly be going back again. The only thing was missing was the lemon, but I mentioned it was rectified straight away!

After getting very disappointed with fish and chip shops two years ago, my wife and I visited every single shop in ryde , we settled on Tony's because quite simply in our opinion they are the best, always great service, large portions, great fresh fish and chips , and quite frankly we love ❤️ them , we support them every Friday and will continue to for ever , it's not a meal it's an experience.Well done team ? keep up the good work

It can't be that complicated to serve up a decent portion of chips. They're more likely to be cooked fresh when they're busy at weekends, but it's a good sign of a chippys standards what they're happy to sell people on a Monday when its quiet. God knows how long these chios had been sitting there. As soon as I opened the paper up I could tell they were inedible. And the tasting confirmed that. Just rotten. A real shame because I like supporting cash only businesses. We need to keep cash alive. But I won't be going back in there.
One of the best fish and chips we’ve had on the island. Served piping hot, big portion of delicious flaky haddock, ended up splitting one with my husband. Everyone in our party loved their choice.The restaurant is clean, service efficient, super nice staff. Would definitely return.
