“.e ans my partner went last week and we can honestly say it's the best place we have ever eaten. The service was fantastic, never had to wait around for anything. The atmosphere was lovely especially being literally on the beach. Very cosy feel inside but most of all the food was beyond amazing. If you a fan of fish or not there is plenty to chose from and all taste good. I have to say there food is so good I wouldn't even care where they served it to me. Yes I'm cheap and I don't tip anyone but I did these guys! I'm trying to write this review but there are genuinely not enough words to describe how much we loved it here. We will be travelling to the Isle of Wight again literally just to eat here”

“We visited for a drink and the staff were so welcoming and child friendly we returned for a full dinner later in the week. The food was amazing and portions massive. Their kids menu had a lot of choices and the pub and staff are very dog friendly too. How on earth could anyone complain about two main meals for £16.50 (14.99 if you choose differently) Both meals very good, and well presented. Thoroughly enjoyed, if a little too much - so very good value for a hearty appetite.Staff are always friendly and welcoming - even under pressure.This property desperately needs investment to support the staff who are clearly working so hard, and the visitors who flock to the Old Village expecting a bit more.
