“Margaret is a welcoming and knowledgeable host. The house and rooms are well presented and very clean, with a variety of tasty breakfast options available. The B&B is within 1-10 minute walk to the train station, multiple bus stops (linked to the rest of the island) and the stunning Sandown beach.Would definitely recommend to anyone and we will return next time we come to the Isle.”

“We stayed four nights, travelling around the Island by bus and both agreed this was the nicest B & B we've been in! The location is perfect for bus-hopping holidays, with the Old Town just a five minute walk away down quiet streets (for routes 3 and the seasonal Island Coaster). The B & B itself is in a tranquil, secluded area on a hill with Palm Trees dotted around. We were even lucky enough to glimpse a sea view from our room (Room 8)!Rooms are homely and recently refurbished, with thick carpets, extremely comfy beds and are spotlessly clean. And then we have the breakfast - and what a breakfast it is! Please note that the breakfast is no longer a full cooked breakfast as it was with the previous owners, but it's still just as filling and tasty. You get to choose a cereal, a yoghurt, a homemade roll / croissant and various sweet and savoury toppings each day and it is delivered to the door of the room in a picnic hamper between 08.45 and 09.15, so no hectic starts for 7am brekkies! Fresh Milk is delivered each day (no UHT here!) from Island dairies, and each room has a small fridge for storage.Liz & Graham went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, with the nice touch of a large pack of shortbreads and fruit bowl waiting for us at the start of our stay. We'd thoroughly recommend it!”

“We always visit The Paramount when in the Isle of Wight. The food is second to none. Perfectly cooked, lots of fresh vegetables, good home cooking but with a chefs touch! Give it a try, you won't regret it!Vegetarian options: My husband is vegetarian, his favourite is egg, chips and beans but that is by no means the only option!Dietary restrictions: I have been dieting (seriously dieting!) and Jon's quite happy to serve up any dish and make changes. I regularly ask for just meat/fish and vegetables (no potatoes/chips) He has new and jacket potatoes on the menu too.Kid-friendliness: There are often families dining when we visit.”
