“One of my favourite places in Shankln to watch sports and enjoy time with friends. A regular haunt whenever I'm in town going back 15 years now”

“We visited for a drink and the staff were so welcoming and child friendly we returned for a full dinner later in the week. The food was amazing and portions massive. Their kids menu had a lot of choices and the pub and staff are very dog friendly too. Would recommend anyone coming to Shanklin to visit here.Food & drinks: Food and drinks were full of variety and very good quality.”

“Very accommodating as we didn't book, staff bent over backwards to help, don't know why they don't put a few bands on and make the most of the scooter ”

“We didn’t book and turned up on the off chance we could get a table. We were warmly welcomed and offered table service upstairs. The staff were excellent and our server was particularly helpful and attentive, unfortunately didn’t get her name . The meals were delicious and quite large. We enjoyed it so much we booked to return again during our stay.”

“This is a lovely pub, serving in our experience, freshly cooked and excellent value food. How on earth could anyone complain about two main meals for £16.50 (14.99 if you choose differently) Both meals very good, and well presented. Thoroughly enjoyed, if a little too much - so very good value for a hearty appetite.Staff are always friendly and welcoming - even under pressure. This property desperately needs investment to support the staff who are clearly working so hard, and the visitors who flock to the Old Village expecting a bit more. Come on Greene King!!! You have the staff and the food. Invest some money and make The Crab THE place to visit in Shanklin”
