Had a really nice meal last night. Both our orders were really great Indian dishes, very tasty and the service was pleasant. The prices were reasonable. Would definitely eat there again if we visit in the future.

Fabulous vegetarian curry here tonight. Very rich tasty sauces, lots of vegetables, complemented by thick Dahl. Good service, clean and pleasant decor. Definitely recommend a meal here, reasonable prices too

Nice clean place , good food . Our only complaint is we felt rushed . Planned the night out for my wife’s birthday. Ordered Poppadoms and halfway through the waiter started asking for our mains order . Which makes it awkward while still eating . Then he come back and pushed the mains plate up against my wife’s plate that she was still eating the poppadoms from . It’s not nice having your main course sat there while still eating the previous. In , ordered and out with in around half hour . Good if I’m a hurry I guess .

This was the first visit and we were very impressed. We were made to feel welcome. The service was very friendly and attentive and our meals arrived very quickly. The food was fresh, hot and very tasty. We enjoyed our visit and will be back.

My wife and I ordered a takeaway meal from House of Spice. Very nice meal, possibly the best Indian food I’ve had on the Island.

Fabulous food, the flavours of the curry were delicious. We’ve not been for a few years but can honestly say this is my favourite place to eat when in Shanklin. I recommend booking in advance to guarantee a reservation. The staff are friendly & service is at a relaxed pace, thoroughly enjoyed & our visit.

Anywhere that charges £5 for a Coca Cola deserves a 1 star review. Ridiculous. The people were nice and the food was actually pretty good, but. Have come here because they decided to rip me off.

Really great food and great service. Definitely worth a visit. We don’t eat meat but the fish and veggie options were brilliant, tandoori prawns were tasty and the tarka dhal was very very good, we eat and make a lot of dhal and it was up there with the best!
I can not rate this place highly enough, it’s by far the BEST curry I’ve ever tasted!!! We’ve eaten here many times and the food is consistently delicious. The staff are kind and friendly, I would 110% recommend.

So, how to put the surrounding area politely… well, I’ll go with an unusual cluster of confusing eateries where despite empty tables if you turn up with no booking you are simply turned around. Maybe it’s a local thing but from the many of hundreds of places and areas I’ve been Shanklin was just bizarre. So, where seated us after an hour of walking around everywhere else, with smiles, with no booking and open arms. You’ve guessed it. Outstanding curry, and trust me, I’ve had my fair share and was simply amazing. Would be back in a heart beat and encourage passers by and visitors to experience what we did. Thank you so much for seating us and providing a great meal

We came here last night for a nice curry and it certainly was. I had the Mogul Nawaz (lamb) with mushroom pilau and hubby had Garlic Mirchi Bhuna (chicken) and plain pilau. Both were gorgeous and just what we wanted. When back on the island we will definitely be back.
