Margaret is a welcoming and knowledgeable host.The house and rooms are well presented and very clean, with a variety of tasty breakfast options available. The B&B is within 1-10 minute walk to the train station, multiple bus stops (linked to the rest of the island) and the stunning Sandown beach.Would definitely recommend to anyone and we will return next time we come to the Isle.

Wonderful stay at The Townhouse. Mike and Margaret were the friendliest and most perfect hosts and were extremely knowledgeable of the Island. We took Margaret's advice of where to visit every day of our stay and it was spot on. The room was excellent and so was the breakfast. On our next visit to the Island we will most defintely be staying here.

Had a very comfortable 4 night stay along with my mum in the twin room ,was clean and nicely decorated, the host was lovely had a nice chat over breakfast ,talking of breakfast it was very tasty . And well presented. Would stay again

The landlady was obviously having a bad day. She was quite grumpy. I wasnt happy there was no heating and windows were open. I was also amazed to see other guests sitting in the restaurant in a jacket for breakfast. Breakfast was very good but took 50 minutes to arrive. I suggest that you ring the doorbell so she knows you’re there. The room was clean and comfortable

Beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean. We stayed in the twin room with the balcony, the room comes with a TV, storage, kettle, water, glasses and mugs, tea and coffee.Breakfast is included and we had a lovely choice of food and specials. Margaret was very friendly and gave us some great tips for exploring the Isle of Wight. She was always a pleasure to talk to during breakfast.Parking is not included at the property but there is parking available opposite and there’s a few car parks nearby. The local area is nice, with only a 5 minute walk to the beach and coastal path.

We only had two nights stay but wish it had been longer. We were made extremely welcome by Margaret on our arrival. She explained the breakfast procedure and showed us to our room. Everything we needed was there, even a small fridge on the landing for guests use. The breakfast was excellent! Lots of choice and cooked fresh. They even have a special board (eggs benedict was delicious) Location too was great, handy for the seafront and buses.
