Had the best Sunday lunch ever in my life at Highdown Inn after a long walk around Freshwater/Needles. Cosy log fire kept us warm. Great selection of ales. Food was served piping hot and with generous portions. Waitresses very helpful. Will definitely return. Dog friendly.
I have had some Sunday roasts around the UK BUT The Highdown Inn has to be the best Sunday roast EVER! Such a generous helping , mean cooked to perfection and the veg was even cooked to perfection. Cauliflower Chees was amazing. Don’t miss a superb Roast!

A proper local pub. Some nautical decor but not too much, with cutesy crockery and a reasonably sized bar area. Good selection of drinks. Not open late, but a friendly establishment with good service and a nice atmosphere. They offer a wide range of food options.
