“Had a fantastic sunday lunch. Really tender roast beef. A great selection of vegetables and roast potatoes complimented by a huge Yorkshire pudding. Friendly and efficient service from the proprietors and the restaurant was busy so booking is a must.”

“We only ate at the Hambrough and the food was excellent. My only negative comment was the actual dining area itself as it was lacking character. The atmosphere was slightly soulless, however the food was absolutely superb and made up for this entirely! The duck was cooked to absolute perfection and the service was without fault. The overall experience was absolutely fantastic and we will be returning again!”

“Second visit in four days. The home made pies are fantastic - made on the premises, stuffed with gorgeous meat (we had chicken, and steak & ale) with superbly crispy pastry. Friendly staff, not too crowded, dog and child friendly. Well worth a visit.”
