Bar • “I wanted to take my mum somewhere special for her birthday. I looked at many reviews of many different places, and decided on Barbara Ann Clark’s. I booked high tea via email and had excellent communication from Barbara. So was very much looking forward to it. Barbara didn’t disappoint…..our high tea was delicious and we had a complementary celeriac soup to start too. I will definitely be back!”
Bar • “Great country pub, good range of drinks, service very good, food excellent although the meat platter would benefit from a dipping sauce sweet chilli or garlic mayo otherwise all ”
Bar • “Bright and bubbly Shiela serving is as good a start as the unlimited breakfast. With the youngest eating free was reasonably priced too. Been several times here and rarely disappointed.”

Bar • “Was a really good atmosphere, they had a DJ with some good music. People are really friendly and chilled. Bar staff really friendly and always happy to give you options if they don't what you ask for. Overall good place for a good night's. Drinks are quite good value as well and they have a good selection. Definitely recommend”

Bar • “Popped in for a drink with a friend, the welsh barmaid made our visit very enjoyable, however the young barman not so much, he came across as a little weird, kept contradicting the welsh barmaid and avoided any responsibility when it came to dealing with louder customers leaving it all to the welsh barmaid to deal with”
“Spent a good few hours here on a Sunday afternoon and we absolutely loved it! Great selection of beers, and as a non-beer person I really enjoyed the cider. Food was fantastic as well, simple burgers but so delicious. And the crack fries were to die for! Nice little selection of board games as well. Unfortunately we’re not local but would love to come back if we’re in the area again.”
