“Flew in and discovered this place on the airfield. Well above the average airfield cafe burger, in fact those don’t come close to the quality of this. Decent beer selection and nice to be able to eat outside, but indoors looked comfortable as well. Came back in Aug and tried the chicken burger which was also very tasty.”

“While traveling for work I popped across the road to look at the menu so tried a half pint, the lady serving was helpful and friendly so decided to return for dinner.

I was being heathy(or not) and went for the ceaser salad, this was really really nice crispy chicken thigh and bacon, although it said it had an cured egg yolk (mine was forgotten)

I also had the potatoes which looked lovely but were terribly dry. If I return on business I will return but try a different side dish.

“I've visited this hostelry three times in the last eighteen months, before the change over and recently. We visited for luncheon at every occasion and found the menu with a good selection to choose from. Surroundings give it a lovely atmosphere and staff are what you expect to find. They should remember me for a diet water request! We'll be back soon again. Keep it up.”
