Josie was absolutely amazing! We had a brilliant time! As a table of 11 we knew we would be a handful but it was so fun and easygoing and Josie was so helpful and funny. She also went above and beyond for some of us with allergens which was amazing! She’s a real credit to the company!

The waiter was first class friendly and helpful! Glad I booked a table over the phone as there wasn't much hope of getting a table just turning up... unfortunately my partners steak was over cooked and a bit like chewing on a flipflop... my dog was greatful on the return home though... we will be back but will the 'steak flip flop' in future...

Had lunch with an old friend today.We don't see each other very often these days.We had a very enjoyable visit. The food was delicious (I had camembert and tomato tart with chips and coleslaw).Our waiter (Jack) was very helpful and friendly.Thank you so much ?

Why has Harvester adopted a policy of not allowing customers to dine in their restaraunt section?Lat night at approximately 7.00pm i entered the restaraunt and requested a table for one, i was informed the a table wouldn,t be available in the restaraunt for a further 30-45 minutes, but was informed that the bar was accepting food orders, i declined the bar dining option, as i had wanted to eat in the restaraunt, which i didnt believe to be unreasonable.i then walked into the resaraunt section, and noted with some surprise that it was practically deserted, with only approximately 15-20 customers present.the restaraunt manager then informed me that there were previous bookings that were due to arrive, hence the delay in offering me a table.i then went into the bar, ordered a drink and sat and counted the number of customers that came into the venue, and those that left.8 people left during the next hour.and there were fourteen customers that requestsed tables in the restaraunt. 4 had made a previous booking and were shown into the restaraunt, the remaining 10 were informed that there wern,t any tables available for 30-45 minutes but they could eat at the bar?What is the point of this unaccountable reticence in letting customers dine in the restaraunt?I would also add that i wrote a complaint to Harvester from my telephone, and within 5 minutes was offered a seat in the restaraunt.i had alao made a booking for the restaraunt after the original refusal, and was succesful in obtaining a bookin for 7.15 pm?The Harvester has always been a great venue, serving a wide range of appetising food at reasonable prices.Please let us get back to a yime when customers are not lied to, and thet thier requests are what is of the utmost importance.

Had to return my dish twice. First time because it contained something not shown in the menu and second time because it still contained the same thing not shown in the menu. Food very good though!

Table was ready on time, restaurant busy but tidy and not over-crowded. Our server was the best! Friendly, polite, attentive without hovering. The food was exactly as we ordered it, cooked perfectly, fairly priced. Definitely will return!

A great venue to eat at. The food was good quality. I had a decent bit of steak! The staff were very accommodating and friendly. We got there much earlier than our booking time but they managed to rearrange tables and fit us in. All in all, very good indeed.
