“Lovely lunch. Food was great: plentiful, tasty, good value. Service was good. Not a bountiful selection of draught ales but disd have bottled to increase selection. No 0% on draught yet but did have bottled Noughty Bear.Old pub, very quaint low beamed ceilings, old hops hanging. Was all quite noisy in there and hard to hear each other but not sure what could be done about that.All in all a really lovely lunch!Parking: Have been several times and parking is hit and miss. On a Friday lunch - struggled to park, but on a Saturday lunch - had no trouble. Not sure what might make difference. I'd say arrive early just in case you have to drive round”

“My friend and I enjoyed a lovely roast dinner here today... The manager on shift had dark hair and she was very welcoming. Yorkshire puds are homemade, with excellent cauliflower cheese. For desert we both opted for chocolate brownie which was delicious ? With a cheeky glass of white ”
