“I visited Zara's on May 28th, around lunchtime. The place was very busy, which I took as a good sign. The staff were on first name terms with pretty much all the customers, another positive. I ordered breakfast #2 with an extra egg. They do much more than a fried breakfast though. Service was excellent and welcoming. The food was nice and hot and well cooked. The egg yolks were runny and perfect for dipping bread (which was fresh). Good value for money. I will definitely visit the next time I'm down from London.”

“Wonderful spot in Birchington. All staff are extremely friendly and there is such a happy atmosphere. I've visited on two occasions with my Dad and partner & son. The menu offering is varied. Food is fresh, clearly using high quality ingredients. I would highly recommend this friendly spot. I will continue to visit !”

“Lovely atmosphere in this cafe . The staff were amazing and worked so well together, you can actually tell they liked each other rather than being forced to be colleagues.I came in on a Thursday expecting it to be quiet but it was jam packed with people. My server was a young gentleman who catered to all our needs quickly , efficiently and with a smile. Will definitely be returning, my only note was that they seemed to need an extra person helping them out. Thankyou again Driftwood - Gin . W ?”

“I have been going to Blend for over three years now, since my wife and I moved to the area. I love their iced lattes and freshly baked goods (I.e. sausage rolls to die for!). My wife and I have ordered Blend's cakes and catering for events such as anniversaries and birthdays because they (especially Jo and Tracey) are so creative and pay special attention to every detail for the specific events and tailor their work to match the event. For example, Jo made us a birthday cake for our 80yo mum, and she hand-made every pedal of the cake's roses and made sure there were exactly 80 of them, to symbolize each year.
