Tables wobbly need attention or heavier ones as worried things fall off em. Ovwr all nice place and cheap.

133 Minnis Rd, BirchingtonCame on our weekend away. Had the three amigos soup and sandwich. It was delicious. Husband has the cheese on toast which was equally cooked well. Staff were really really friendly. Beautiful light atmosphere. People in here had afternoon teas which also looked amazing. Highly recommend. If we lived closer we would definitely come often.

11-13 Minnis Rd, BirchingtonI took my mum there yesterday for a late Mothers Day lunch and we were both wowed by everything! The service, friendliness and welcome were great but the food was outstanding!! Mum had the soup which was watercress, cheese and potatoe with croutons and she said it was one of the best soups she’d ever eaten! We both had steak and kidney pudding which came with freshly cooked veg and a delicious gravy. Again fantastic! We had no room for pudding but took a slice of a plum and almond tart home( took a slice for hubby too). We ate that last night and it was gorgeous. Hubby was very impressed so we are going again today so he can sample the delicious food!! Thank you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

8 The Square, BirchingtonFields Café is a real gem in Westgate-on-Sea! Incredibly friendly staff who make you feel so welcome from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is cosy and relaxed, perfect for catching up with friends or having a quiet coffee. The homemade cakes are fresh, delicious, and clearly made with care (honestly hard to choose just one!). They’re so accommodating and go above and beyond to make everyone feel looked after. An absolute must-visit in Westgate.

Also if you want something special ie bread cakes or Cake at a future you pay and they will either deliver or you collect your order. FANTASTIC TO SAY THE LEAST

The Bell Inn
BirchingtonCame in for a drink and ended up staying for 3! Was greeted by such a friendly welcoming staff member (Emily) she and another staff member (shay) was kind and amazing with my little boy. We stayed outside, amazing vibes, a play slide etc in the garden for our little one to play on. Also so reasonable! We didn't want to leave as felt so at home there. Deffo gonna be my regular. Loved it so much ❤️❤️

155 Minnis Rd, BirchingtonWe're a vegan couple and after checking the batter contained no animal ingredients we handed over our vegan chocolate bars and asked if they would deep fry them ... they did and they were absolutely delicious!
The chips were a decent portion and the pea fritters were also a good size and really nice too.
Great service, will be back.

Quex Barn Farm Shop and Restaurant
Quex View Rd, BirchingtonAmazing every time, from the shop to the restaurant it does not disappoint, only recently we realised we have never tried the roast on a Sunday so we had to put this right, service and food was amazing glad we booked as did get busy, food and drink came out quick, beef was cooked to perfection not a bad thing to say, keep doing what your doing guys and keep up the hard work thank you and happy new year.

Minnis Bay Bar & Brasserie
The Parade, BirchingtonNice local Restaurant close to the beach. We liked the fact that one could easily book a table online. The service was nice and friendly and the ladies were really helpful and courteous. The Food had a reasonable price and the fish and chips was really big and tasted excellent. The chips were not so chunky which I personally enjoyed. The peas were not my taste, I assume they had mint in them and I am not a fan of that. Two things I did not like about the restaurant itself: 1) The table was sticky. I guess because they used some soap or disinfectant and did not clean that off properly. 2) There was chewing gum under the table which I find absolutely disgusting and I would really suggest that the owner check things like that on a regular basis. Otherwise the experience was nice.
