11-13 Minnis Rd, Birchington10 of us came down from London to The Parlour, we had a really great welcoming, food was first class as were the staff. What a find this place is if you want good standard of food and really fresh vegetables. Did I mention the wine ?

Joe's Café & Bar
133 Minnis Rd, BirchingtonWe visited 20mins before closing after getting caught in the pouring rain on the beach. My daughter and I were a bit bedraggled and my 8year old grandson was wet and cold. The staff were really helpful providing hot drinks quickly and not at all fazed about our late arrival telling us not to worry about timing just to take our time to get warm again. I would recommend them to all and will visit again and maybe next time we'll visit when the live music is playing.

The Kent Barn, St Nicholas Court Farm, Court Road Kent St Nicolas At WadeAn excellent range of superb beers of course. A bit cold in winter and only crisps and scratchings to keep you warm. The welcome is warm too, for people and dogs.

22-24 The Square, BirchingtonThis is a lovely cafe for its generous food servings and friendly atmosphere. I was really impressed that they had kids cutlery. Remember, they only take cash, though. It doesn't look great (the menus laminated to the table), but don't let looks deceive you.

155 Minnis Rd, BirchingtonChips are cooked to order and the best I’ve tried. Rare that you get the classic chip shop chips that are actually crunchy on the outside. Have tried a few times and have been a high standard each time. Very friendly service

Harbour Bakery Driftwood Cafe
59 Station Rd, BirchingtonWe caught the bus into Birchington so we could walk at leisure around the town. We started one side of the high street and decided to visit this cafe on the back of their bakery shop. It was very busy but as it was a Saturday and Christmas market day it had to be expected . We found a table in the main area under a heater. We were greeted by a young lady given menus and within 15 minutes we had our coffees and food . The food was exceptional I had a sausage sandwich in white bloomer bread and my wife had scrambled egg on brown whole meal bread . We would definitely visit again when next in town and perhaps try a day during the week. The bread and cakes on sale in their shop were going quick and they looked good and well priced.

Quex Barn Farm Shop and Restaurant

Minnis Bay Bar & Brasserie
The Parade, BirchingtonExcellent. Great staff team, Coffee and Cakes. Could not have asked for more.We popped in for the first time ever (no I don't know why not in all the other times we've visited the bay!) and were not disappointed. It was a bright sunny morning, although windy and a bit cold. We needed a warm up and refreshments.The ground floor was quite full, we asked just for Coffee and Cake, the staff member at the bar directed us to bar seats or upstairs to the Bay View seating that was all but empty. And yes it was a great view across the bay and more.It didn't take long for the Coffee and Scones, Cream and Jam to arrive. Delivered by a friendly and engaging young man. And it was very good too.We loved the team. We loved the friendly team and atmosphere. And we certainly will make this a stop on future visits for sure. Gotta check out the Food menu.Thank you all.. Bravo.
