This is a great resturant. We were recommended this place by a random person who we met and the recommendation was fully justified. Seven members of my family attended and were met by a fantastic waitress, who was extremely friendly, helpful and entertaining. The drinks were served quickly and the food was excellent, and plenty of it. If ever we are in Birchington again we will certainly go there again.

A little disappointed tonight. I ordered a mixed kebab which was listed under the lamb doner meat and chips, chicken doner meat and chips and ribs and chips. So assuming it was a mix lamb and chicken doner, that's what I ordered. It didnt list what was in it. When it came, it was chunks of three different meats, which I wouldnt usually have picked.

Nice decent restaurant. Been here many times. Visited again recently. Menu price has gone up of which I don't blame them as living crisis is pretty tough right now. Only problem is, price has gone up and their portion size has gone down by alot! Only 5 pieces of lamb with the lamb sarma beyti. I get this dish all the time and didn't expect such small portion. Its only a 3 Starr coz of portion size otherwise the food has always been nice here

First time I’ve visited this little gem in birchington. On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the lovely staff, the ambience is warm and welcoming. Food was delicious , we had the cold meze plus chips as we we only wanted a light bite. We had a few glasses of wine but had our glasses topped up courtesy of the restaurant. What a fabulous little place to eat, I’ve already recommended it to my friends and plan to return. Best Turkish restaurant I’ve been to.

Went to Turkvaz last night. Did a booking by message which was actioned really quickly. Fantastic friendly and prompt service and really lovely food. Nothing was too much trouble.

Just a perfect place to eat with friends. food is good and plenty of it. The service is amazing very attentive without being in your face. And amazingly good value.Been twice in the last month and each time have been impressed.

We visited the restaurant for the second time in the past two months. Staff are very welcoming and go out of their way to make sure you get what you like with food and drinks. The food was very enjoyable that's why we visited for the second time. We had a couple of cocktails which were delicious and we will go again.
Food was lovely, but the portions were far too big!! We ended up wasting half because it was too big, was a shame.

First impressions last. Ordered a takeaway chicken in yoghurt kebab at £17+. Venue looked great, dishes going to the table looked amazing value.Opening our foil container and it was almost all bread. Should either change the name of the dish to bread in yogurt with a bit of chicken garnish, or put more of the primary named ingredient in.Calling them back is just as fruitless as it’s perm engaged but it is Saturday. Perhaps Saturdays is con the takeaway customers day. Doubtful will ever use again or go in based on this.Service and atmos was ok, but food a huge let down.

Ordered 2 chicken yoghurt kebabs to take away. Which we were really looking forward to having. Opened the chicken expecting chicken to be the biggest component and the take away container full of bread and very little chicken. Very disappointed especially as it was not cheap. Over £17 per kebab. Will not be using again.
